Just shows the difference Rooney makes doesn't it. Really was a class act today.

However I thought it was between Carrick, Anderson and Fletcher for MOTM. All three bossed the middle of the park.

Well Carricks passing and vision were spot on today.

Anderson was just all over the place being excellent.

And Fletchers work rate was phenomenal, plus he got two goals.

EXACTLY what we needed, the thing that makes a great result even sweeter was the fact we had no Ronaldo,Tevez,Giggs,Hargreaves, and Scholes(for most part)for the match and beat a on form Arsenal side, and there were so many good performance's from Anderson, Nani, Rooney,Park,Carrick,Evra for me all played well enough to get the MOTM

On Another note i found it funny how Arsenal showed there "class" by Eboue's Challenge, Adebayor's great Roll and tumble and ofcourse the countless little kicks the whole team gave to Nani :)

Midfield was superb today and although everyones creaming themselves over Rooney i thought he was a bittoo wastefulwith alot of his chances but his allround game was superb.
Most of all i was happy for Fletcher after a great season last year he deserves more than his fair share of chances.

Fletcher was immense again tonight and apparently he had that in his locker all the time.The midfield worked their socks off and got their rewards.It was great not resort and reply to their dirty tactics as we would have stoop as low as them if we did so.Never seen Arsenal so torn apart ever...and who said they play 'Beautiful Football' again??

What's the true colours comment about?, we gave our main rivals in the league a right going over and we're not supposed to celebrate it?
cause i tell you what mate, i'm fuckin celebrating it big time, and if you don't like it , don't read it.

Watched in awe as manchester united ripped arsenal apart seam by seam! Brilliant in every department , arsenal didnt want it there sayin ! they had no choice in the matter , on this form united are unstoppable , the difference? This boy wonder!

Manu played really well. They were anyday better than us. But on the other side we couldnt risk putting all our players for this game. its good that we played with this team coz now we have a good team against AC Milan. I hope we perform really well agaisnt them.

Nanis ball juggling would have been better if he was going the right way up the pitch!! as soon as he went the right way he got tackled - I don't see why you lot are creaming yourselves over that?

Well done though - you thoroughly deserved it.

I was Ashamed of Adebayor and Gallas today :(

But Adebayor probably thought that if you dive sometimes you get a pen just like Rooney did when you stopped us going 50 games unbeaten - but Rooney got away with it.....Oh well.

Adebayor and gallas were Shite. i think there was a lot pressure on them and thats y they did it. any1 in their position would do that, but its still wrong to do that and i hope they dont repeat it. i hope all players have learnt from the match something and i HOPE it wont be repeated when we meet the scums 2nd time at old trafford.

gud match for ManU.. well played... wud have been interesting if arsenal had played all their 1st squad players..... wud have been a sweet match to watch for the neutrals n the fans of the respective teams... congrats ManU.. arsenal next challenge AC Milan (agree with rushilhalflife with this... saved best players for them)

I am a bit disappointed that Arsenal didn't give us the stern test that I expected, but it was good to see someone like Fletcher have a good performance, as well as the young kids, Anderson and Nani. I haven't seen Adebayor's dive but I was very disappointed by Galla's unprofessional attitude to Nani. As captain, he should have been pulling his team together, but instead he lost his mind as well. Looking forward to facing Juninho, Benzema and co. I rate Lyon quite highly and I think they should give us a good battle. Just disappointed that they haven't done better in the Champions League to add to their domination of the French League.

I think Lyon and Valencia are one of the biggest under achievers in Europe. I think Arsenal and AC Milan are pretty well match, and ManU might have slight more quality in attack than Lyon, but Lyon's midfield is one of the best in the world.

I have said it before and will say it again.I really think Lyon is one of the most solid and well-balanced team in europe.Solid defence,a hardworking midfield and an industrious frontline.We could really match them at OT,we need to win with a 3-0 scoreline and then take it back france later on....however a 2-1 victory is likely and that will not be good for us.
