Manchester United Thread

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

I didn't see exactly why Cech was down for so long

Rooney just landed on his legs a bit, didn't actually do anything to him because he was focused on attacking Ben Haim.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

if utd are gonna do better this season we need a world class central defender vidic a outstanding defender but he needs another player like him alongside him cause rios fantastic with the ball but cant defend at all

Yea mate Rio cannot defend. Last season he was immense. He made a mistake in pre season.

Oh my god lets drop him.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

I wouldn't trade another defender on earth for Rio. I can't work out why some people don't rate him. Sure he makes one or two mistakes over the course of a season, find me someone who doesn't!>!>

Rooney's agression is still a problem at times. But, he does get booked for his face and his snarl, as much as his actions. 9/10 he does something that another player could get away with, but gets booked I presume because the ref wants to calm him down, or teach him a lesson.

spot on mate, rio is world class

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

Can't see the fuss about Rooney either. He got booked for being pushed into Cech and Cech over reacting. It's just bitters complaining.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

If you lot got to see the replay on Chelsea's goal...you lot could clearly see its all down to Wes Brown's poor positioning and back-tracking.He was too far up when A.Cole curled that ball into Malouda's path.Rio did well to catch up with Malouda whom already had a head start. The stocky winger was too powerful for Rio and the rest was history. If I was Rio I would have dragged Malouda down or literally fell onto his path, then again,it would have resulted in a penalty.Credits to Rio for trying but it was not his fault in my opinion,it was Brown's.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

Just remembered..did Gaby Heinze turned up for training today? Its interesting to know what kind of reception he would get at Carrington...of all clubs, you dont go and shoot your mouth off that you want to play for Liverfool if you still wearing United's crest.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

Apparently they were arguing all because those guys in white were londoners and were actually Chelsea's fans.It was reported that no prawn sandwiches were involved or exchange in the heat of the moment. One report though says that a couple of chelsea fans had stomach disorder when they ate,get this, prawn sandwiches bought at one of Wembley's snack stores.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

Well they obviously werent hugging each other.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

Easy to tell city from United in Manchester though. City are the scruffy cunts with miserable faces.

Not been for nearly two years. Really missing the curry shops near Tib Street. This & That is the best.
Will you be smiling in 9 months? I can see Sven sorting your defence out but still think you won't score too many.

the whole world knows how this story is gonna end...

I can hear frank singing now..

"And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain."

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

FFS!!

Now its the prem league that are holding up the tevez transfer so he's not gonna be able to play the start of the season...

twats!!

At least we have scholsey back, but I wanted to see tevez play on sunday...

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

We've got Nani and Anderson to look forward to. This season's gonna be so fun to watch.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

HEINZE who wants him at united when he shows no loyalty
no love and when hes willing to lower his standards by wanting to join liverpool i question his mental state.and considering his good freind ronaldo is at united and tevez is joining i wonder if he has fallen out with some one at united.
i mean you can understand foreign player wanting to join madrid milan barca for the climate but liverpool thats an insult to united supporters everywhere.united can cope with out him so good riddence to disloyale players.:8):

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

I can't remember another player so pissed off at United before that they wanted to leave. After paying him for sitting in the stands for nearly a year, too.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07
