Manchester United Thread

@ beboq, did you do your degree in spain, or are you american hispanic? (or whatever its called?)

Dom.Republic(birth place) , Puerto Rico and the US . I have dual citizenship and it called "Hispanic" or "Spanish-American" I know where your heading and the Education system is becoming more and more political thanks to the left extremist , but I doubt you give a monkey`s arm pit about it. So thanks for winding me up and lets keep football going ,the only thing that makes sense.

Wasnt actually going towards the education thing (was only a joke as i was watching the daily show the other day and they had the politician responsible for it talking about it). Was just interested as you said you're an architect. Im in my final year of my Msc Arch degree.

cool, 7 year apprentice is not that long it`s required . I also did layouts on the side , but description of material is by far the most boring  that`s a job on itself if you fancy it.

Dont have to do the apprentice part. When ive finished this degree i get the Architect title. However i do have to pass a test / get 2 years experience to be able to sign up with the dutch architect association. But thats more an "insurance" for clients that they know youre a responsible architect.

Ill stay away from the material desciption.......horrible work

Bardsley is a right back. If Heinze goes, O'Shea & Silvestre can cover. But i doubt Heinze would leave.

Heinze better stay. The injuries really messed up all the momentum he gained with his great performances. I think he'll do well next season.

Id be real disappointed to see Heinze go if he does that is. Hes had a difficult season maintaining his consistency after coming back from injury but im sure he'll be back to his normal self next year and honestly Evra aside who would you prefer to see in that left back slot Heinze, O'Shea or Silvestre?

next you'll be saying richardson can cover for giggs and so on.

He will in the easier games. Ferguson might give him another season and if he doesn't step up then he'll get rid.
We can't have two full teams like Chelsea with players on the bench that aren't arsed if they play or not because their wages are so high. Everyone at United wants to play. Players like Fletcher, Richardson, O'Shea and Silvestre would walk into half the other premier teams, so they are ideal as back up.

another season??

he's already had 2 chances. he's shit

If we see the old Heinze before the injuries, he wins the left back slot straight up IMO. The world cup f*cked him up as was rushed back to play.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

Gabby wants to leave for Spain, thats cool he's been a good player for the club, personally dont think he's been the same since his injury....

as for cover, we have at least three players who can play left back, evra, sheasy and silvestre..

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

Owen H should sign today (at last!)

He'll be a great signing for the club, we needed players with more European experience, he defo fits the bill....

Now we need another striker and a winger...

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

weird how theres absolutely fuck all about Hargreaves on the United site

thats the norm for them....

they will probley wait to anounce the press conference....

he's had his medical and everything so its probley cos someones lawyer/agent is on holiday...

or gills pimpimg money of fans for the glazers in outer-mongolia...

I spose after waiting nearly 12month a couple more days wont matter..

Thats probably because he hasnt had a long run in the side like he did when he first signed. He hasnt become a bad player, he just needs games. You just know the moment he joins another team where he'll get games, he'll be the player he once was. It'll be a huge mistake to let him go now.

Also, after missing out on Bale, who would you rather have as cover for left-back, Heinze or Silvestre? I'd hate to see Heinze leave. He's a great tackler, and gives everything on the pitch. Hopefully, after pre-season he will be fully fit and ready to give Fergie a selection head-ache.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

its really the manager's dream to have a huge headache on who to select like Evra and Heinze....even playing WE, i switch between the two cause i really love them...(but i still love Heinze more)

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

Ill feel a little sorry for Heinze if he leaves as I really think he wants to play for you lot a lot. He always gives everything when he plays foryou and as RuneEdge says he just needs more games to get back to his peak.

Both of them offers two different options also. Its essential that we keep Heinze for now.He did say that he wont leave unless United allows him or wants him to.Silvestre is definitely staying nonethless.A selection headache for Sir Alex is always a good and welcomed problem.

Re: Manchester United Thread - Champions 2006/07

I thought that Heinze was the better option against the more difficult teams as Evra is better at getting forward against the weaker ones. I can't see why we can't keep both of them. Maybe there is more too it than just playing. Silvestre is behind both of these players so if he wanted to get rid of one it should be him.
