Manchester United Thread

Feel for Rodrigo, Was having a great game. :(( Bloody hell what a performance from the youngsters, Arsenal will take all the headlines but I really think we have some real quality youth coming through, Rafael, Wellbeck and Possebon were amazing today, Anderson found his feet and Nani had a good game aswell. :))

TBH until FIFA get tough this is always going to happen, or someone gets sued. I'm for guilty parties getting banned for the length of time the injured party is out, or having to pay massive comp' if that player has to quit. to many idiots just get away with kicking talent up and down...

Like Roy Keane on Alfe Haaland?

Some people in the football world have serious memory issues..

In case you didn't notice I'm not a United fan. I'm a Benfica fan and most of all, a football fan. And this sort of thing happens too often in the EPL. And the EPL being my favourite league to watch, I don't want to see these sort of things happening.

The sickest thing about the incident was Pogatitz's reaction. He should be banned just because of that.No remorse at all,a thug should be treated like a thug.End of.

Good to hear that Rodrigo didnt suffer anything more than a gash.Watching him control the midfield with Anderson has left me amazed.Should be our first pairing in the near future.

How the hell is he captain? he didn't even walk up to him and say sorry! And better yet he began to protest alongside the other players. What a sick image, and what a way to be a role model.

How many times must that incident be brought up? I am sure many still believed Keano ended Haaland's career which is not true at all...and come on,football during that era is more brutal than these days.Haaland was coming onto Keano the whole game and got what he deserved...Not that I am a sicko whatsoever but karma takes over sometimes.

you binkered, idiotic cunt.

Haaland never recovered from the knee injury he sustained from Keane's assault, it was down to Keane that his career is over.

Plus, if you knew what you were talking about you'd know that it had pretty much nothing to do with Haaland saying anything to him during that game, it was revenge for an incident that happened several years earlier when Haaland was playing for Leeds, Keane lunged at him nastily and injured himself in the process and the ref gave a foul, Haaland felt that Keane was faking the injury to avoid being punished but the ref booked him anyway and it turned out he'd injured his cruciate (i think), Keane was pissed off at Haaland accusing him of faking the injury and that's why he lunged at him again. Tbh Keane was well known for being a dirty player, a brilliant midfielder yes, but a dirty one nonetheless.

one last thing, "football was more brutal in that era"??? it was only 7 fucking years ago!

look at this video and tell me he's not a horrible baldy little shithouse

What Keaneo did that day was thuggery, plain and simple and to be honest undefendable, but you wanna get your facts right. The tackle Keane did on Alf Haaland didn't end his career, he played on for another 18 months and retired due to a chronic injury to his other knee.
Oh and about him being a shithouse, i'd take him over your captain fantastic anyday of the week, I never saw Keano go hiding in the red shirt.

That was an awful decision by the ref. Just terrible. As they said on BBC, pity noone will talk about our bossing of the game, and instead focus on taht once incident.

Anyway, 3 points, if we win game in hand we're still within 3 of the top. Could be worse.
