The match was superb, so exciting and tense. Both sides had great chances to win the game so penalties were probably the best way to decide it. Chelsea may have hit the woodwork twice, but if Carrick, Tevez and Giggs had been more decisive it could have been three or four nil!!
I thought it was over when Ronnie missed. I knew he would, I said just before extra time that if it went to penalties he'd miss and the tit went and proved me right!! At least he made up for it with his first half performance, he was brilliant! Not confident he wants to stay on though, everything he's saying suggests he wants out! I get the feeling if he stays its only cos Fergie's made him and next season may be a struggle.
Shame Chelsea went and marked an otherwise amazing final by fighting at the end, and all because Carlos didn't kick the ball where they wanted. Strange that it was fine when they did it earlier in the match when Joe Cole was rolling on his arse next to VDS!
And finally... John Terry is not a bionic man. He is a cunt. Maybe karma made him miss to even things out like the disgusting spit at Tevez and all the off the ball kickings he's dished out over the years. Oh and maybe the fact that he's an overpaid, overrated, classless thug that the British media love to rim. I was trying to explain to my girlfriend she shouldnt feel sorry for him when he was crying his eyes out but I dont think she really understood. Frank Lampard, played well, scored, put his penalty away and after his mum has only just died, but he wasn't blubbin'! He's got a bit of perspective on life, it's only a football final at the end of the day.
