it'll be 1-1 tomorrow, or we'll lose 1-0

Whats so funny? Its true, honest.

And thats only cuz he'd have O'Shea and Fletcher to compete with.
Our midfield STILL sucks ass. And the only other player we went after just injured his leg.

Very important win in a game that could have been 5/6-0, good to Ole getting on the score sheet even though both is goals where quite fortunate.

Cant beleive Heinze, is he an injury magnet or something

Oh fuck sake, he's injured AGAIN?!

Watching Football First, can't believe he's injured AGAIN.

Wow! what a deflection Ole` has quick feet  and the 2nd goal the ball hit him before going in  and he`s crown hero of the match.

:applause: for Ronaldo

What a performance. That was the United that looked so dangerous against Fulham and Charlton. Question becomes, where did they go since then? Almost same team sheet?

Is it me, or is Fletcher more effective than Rooney at the moment? (Knocks back some pills, mumurs quietly to self in corner)

Ronaldo has to be the best player in the prem so far this season, plus he actually looks like he's enjoying himself. Now if only Rooney could sort himself out, Heinze could stay healthy (whats wrong with him NOW?) and Carrick can settle, we should be in for a decent title run.

We lack strength in depth though dont we? Evra is good dont get me wrong but he is no Heinze replacement and nor is Silvestre. We miss Heinze's tackling and attacking down the left side.

What is with Rooney? id really like to know whats up with him he is playing very below par at this moment in time, yes its good to be top of the league but things could get worse if players like him dont start performing. Fletch has done alright, Ronaldo has been a constant bright spark (if you forget the Arsenal Shambles when he gifted the ball to Fabregas and generally just ran down to a dead end each time) So we are a bit hit and miss at the moment.

Good too see Man Utd top of the English league again, it makes an exciting league again. Arsenal look brilliant at the moment and Chelsea look solid. I think it's obvious who the top 3 will be, I just couldn't give you the pecking order!

Jose Mourinho was right about L'pool - they won't be challenging for the title this year.

Arsenal only have Sol Campbell as a 75 minute hero in a European Cup final and he plays for Portsmouth . . .

Any player who makes a comeback like this from a 18 month injury at the age of 33 is a instant hero regardless of what they did for the club before that.

Unlike Sol, Solskjaer has won it. ;)

On the Rooney front im not too worried he looked better against Newcastle and it cant be too long until he scores again, wouldnt it be nice if he got back to his unstobbale form against Liverpool!, maybe if he gets chose in the England 11 this week he can regain some form against Macedonia. I wonder if its true that he's not going to shave until he scores :D

lol nah you dont, and its not a dig just the truth...

at first I was gonna say think of how you goons love Henry and multiply that a few times but even that isnt fair on Ole cos he has never held us to ransom or threatened to leave (for whatever reason).

I`m all for Henry standing up to the MAN and saying bring on help(squad-wise) he brought results. He did it because he loves Arsenal and he felt change was needed(And he kinda of hinted that Wenger put him up to it)(like AW really wants English owners to blockade power and controlled keep to topic). To compare Henry to Ole is a mistake in any level unless he`s your son.

you`re right I was being polite...There just something that have no explanation so keep Ole and take no other striker because he is dear to us :applause:

Just my opinion but I sometimes feel that Henry prefers to be the star player in a team before anything else. I feel that Barcelona intimidated him, he would have just been another star where at Arsenal he is the king.

Yeah you're right. One man plays with all his heart, never gives up, is 100% loyal to the club and the other is Thierry Henry.

I remember watching an interview with him on MUTV a while back during his injury. Most of the fans who phoned in talked about his winning goal in the CL final and his face went red and got pretty embaressed. He said he doesnt want to be remembered for one goal, he wants to make his return and achieve a lot more.
I'm thinking, he won the FA Cup, the Premiership, the European Cup, won the Treble, scored the winning goal in the dying seconds of the CL final, he's already a legend at the club, and he's now 32 years old (a time in his career where most would consider calling it a day) with a serious injury thats taken him out for 2 seasons. Most people would be more than happy to walk away with that but he wants to forget all of it and look ahead to what more he could achieve in the future.

And you're trying to compare him to Henry?

being loyal and nobody wanting you is not the same....that`s why I said "somethings have no explanation" If you think Ole` has more value then Henry we`ll just agree to disagree (my 1st post was an observation of Ole`s display not a reflection of his pppast achievements...Mr.Never doubted the lads :^o )

I'm not talking about his past achievements. Cuz if I did, I'd rate Sheringham just as high, but I dont. Its about how loyal he is, how determined he is at his age and how much you can rely on him. Of course you wont understand cuz theres not one man at Arsenal who comes close to being compared to Ole.

That was sarcasm. One great performance still doesnt convince me that we're at our best.

I would have added Ashley Cole, but he f*cked off as soon as he got better from his injury!

True say, we have (had) great players, but their heads get turned so easily - Anelka, Overmars, Petit, Vieira, Ashley Cole, Grimandi (just kidding!)

We seemed to be missing that something, and i don't know if it was the 'bridesmaid' to United in the league since Wenger took over (abliet twice) - or failing in Europe when so much was expected.

Fair play, there is some mysticism with playing at United that seems to make players wanna stay there. They know they'll get a good run in the team - unlike the chavs and their leather bench!

Well said Iceman...Mucho Respecto! :applause:

Rooney played alot better.....Heinze was minor...they took him off as a precautious thing more than really injured i believe...

C. Ron is still CRAZY!!!! best player in Prem so far....i have to say, he brings so many problems to the opposition defense!! but again, if he passes just once or twice more...then it will be GREAT!!!

Rooney will be better soon...he'll score soon....i believe in him!!
