Started out and thought the graphics were great and the slickness of the passing, movement was brilliant! Scored a few nice goals as well.
Then I thought...this game is very easy and apart from the graphics, the game hasn't really changed.
Next, I played as Turkey against France on top player and WOW! I lost 4-0 \\:o/ (happy because I thought the game was far too easy!) Henry scored a hat-trick (2 long range freekicks and an amazing lob. Saha then took it round my keeper.
Playing against France I noticed that the AI uses a lot of skill and is a hell of a lot more intelligent and plays clever moves, not just the obvious ones as in previous games.
My first few games were Brazil vs Turkey so obviously my team outclassed them, but it's nice to see Konami making the good teams actually better, not just faster and more of the shots going on target.
I can see why some would be dissapointed, but remember, they have to make this game on the ps2 - so tbh I don't think they can quite let go of old-gen features just yet...remember pes1/pes2 on the ps2 were terrible looking back, as soon as they stopped making the ps1 games the series took off!
Also the demo is at least 2 months old as I understand it, my graphics card isn't great and IMO console games are always a lot slicker and nicer than PC ones.
