This thread is an attempt to follow up the progresses of major patches that sprout around. Major patch meas not-an-option-file-only level patch, one that includes faces, kits and more.

Since the patching teams have started to split up more due to various reasons and that some teams may be from non-English based communities, it's getting harder to follow what's to come for PES Major Patch scene. At least personally it's being a hassle lately for me.

What I'd like you all to contribute (if you please to, of course) is, announcing releases/plans/updates of major patches that are already out there or are about to come out.

I may have to remind you that this won't be the place to discuss the patches. This would not only divert the actual cause of this thread but also would be unpleasant for the patches' own threads as well.

So as to make a kick-start:


If you folks get interested in this, I'll try to make a more comprehensible arrangement for the patch index (such as categorizing them regarding their current state).

Final words: This is just a humble attempt to help all out there. All credit goes to the hard-working staff of every other major patch.

GA Community Patch released an incremental 2.1 update, it needs 2.0 already installed that is.

For GA Community Patch 2.1, how do you add widescreen resolutions? I have the widescreen fix for the normal PES 2009 but the settings is a different file for the GA Community Patch.

great idea for a thread. it might be worth adding the ProEvoluti Super Patch (though you do have to 'donate' to download it).

Are you serious? Well, it's the same old story: if editers made users pay for kits/chants/OF's, we would be rich without even having to work for a day..

Anyway, end of the rant. I'd suggest you to add Game4V patch among the ones listed, it does look cool.. And it also feels right, when you launch it.

Go to the related thread of each patch to do that.

Here is only to know what stage of evolution each patch has reached.

Burgum annouced today he is gonna make a break...

So no updates for a while...

So 0.6 version last version and for a while.

But 0.6 version crashes for many people when playing European Championship during Bal...so better download 0.5 version...

Oh look, just when I had started to think that I was a loon talking to himself, people showed up ^^

Well, I have to agree with the fact that a patch sounds ridiculous to be paid for. Actually it's even more of an illegal activity in which you are earning revenue over someone else's product.

And after all, if you are planning to do such stuff "professionally" one day, you need a background of projects that you've taken part in -free ones to show off yourself that is. 'Cause you need to reach masses.

Briefly I'm not counting paid patches (even the name sounds funny) to be indexed here.

Anyway..Although I couldn't find the exact homepage (game4v.vn is a game portal in Vietnamese) or forum thread of it, Game4V patch has been added. If anybody would be able to tell me which version it currently is on, I'll be grateful. Following updates is one purpose of this index, you know.

BuLi patch is added as well. GA Community Patch has been updated (2.2.1) released along with GiGi chants pack.

Thank you all for your contributions. Keep it up please !

Edit: I also agree that patch problems shouldn't be asked over here, please use the original threads to do so.

No technical problems here, put your message in the thread of that patch...Thanks

PS : working perfectly with me on full screen... you have to start the game on a small window and only after go full screen.

Thanks for the heads up, Tecdeep. Apparently, although I had updated my patch to 2.3, I forgot to announce it here.

It's been a beautiful New Year's Day. Why ? Because we've got two updates already:

GA Community Patch has released its 2.4 version which includes lotsa eyecandy imrpovements as well as a Beta option file from PesStatsDatabase.com (which I'm really excited to test). It's up to you whether to use it or go with the plain ones.

Also Game4V Patch has announced its 1.3 update as a 2009 gift.

I have also decided to include the quickie project FCH started with the conversion of FM '09 stats for PES 2009. The work turned out to be a patch with graphical elements as well, so it qualifies as a major patch to be indexed here.

Here it is.

Everytime I click a link, I get redirected to some chatroom or other where someone called 'SweetSexy18' tries to talk to me. Not interested! I'm here to get the patch, not talk to someone pretending to be a girl, when in fact they're probably a fat old man! How do you download the patch??

You probably have some sort of a virus, links work fine
