Dear customer,

Thank you very much for contacting the Konami customer support team. If you receive an error message that you are unable to connect to the server,it basically means that you have one or more ports blocked on your internetconnection. They can either be blocked by your Internet Service Provider, orif you are using a router, modem with router function or firewall software.

If the Router you are using is compatible with UPnP, please make sure that theUPnP function is enabled. Please disable any firewall/antivirus program onyour pc. Also disable the Router’s Firewall function and make sure you thefollowing ports aren't blocked by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and areopen on your router (refer to the Router Manual in order to this):

TCP Ports: 80, 443, 8800-8899, 14020UDP
Ports: from 5730 to 5739

tried openin all them ports m8, didnt make any difference, still gettin online but cant connect to another player ffs

LoL... I guess I forgot to comment that this is a load of bull from konami. There is no relation between any user's computer and their inability to play during the first days of release. The servers have never worked from the start when any new PES is released.

Besides, assuming they were right and it's a user issue that just EVERYONE happens to be having (since I haven't met the first who has had a successful online match or connection for that matter), no company should ask you to peel your a$$ to hackers and viruses just to play a game. They might as well ask users not to wear condoms either. I mean, I understand if a specific port needs to be open, that's understandable. But to literally ask users to totally unprotect their pcs is reason for a lawsuit when you catch a virus for following their advise.

Anyway, since we remember previous PES releases, let's just wait another week or so and see since they normally get their act together after 2 or 3weeks.

Bangman from a german forum has the solution:

" Systemsteuerung
- Netzwerkverbindungen
- nur eine Lan -verbindung darf aktiv sein!
d.h. deaktiviert alle verbindungen außer die, die euch mit dem internet verbindet
- startet neu
und zack es geht!"

Believe me, it's true!!!

ONLY 1 LAN-CONNECTION MUST BE ACTIVE!!! THIS IS THE SOLUTION TO OUR ONLINE_PROBS!!!

A translation...

Control Panel > Network connections (only one Lan connection may be active!)

Deactivate all connections except those which connect you to the internet

Restart.

PS: I haven't tried it yet. Will do at night.

it works !
I had the problem, i desactivated all other lan connections and 1394... and now i can play.

Online works but the game is not smooth online... lags and freeze even with good connection.
