Konami's patch is already here!!

I have just played with the new patch, and i have the following question:

"What was the patch supposed to fix, because after that choppy shit LAGGY ONLINE game i just had, the game now seems worse!"

Next patch
then another

Have they employed the sacked BF2 patch team?

still cant play..with the patch...why?

anybody who has the same problem and cant play even with the patch installed please post!!!!
 
I know what the patch did now, as with all my games i make an image of them when i get them so i dont have to take them out of the cases, learnt a long time ago that using cd's often tends to damage them as i've lost quite a few games over the years like that

anyway they added more security as it wont let me play with my image so back to using the cd :(
 
cant get a game here aswell and the kitserver sets all to high but when i try and play i get a error saying computer not good enough so will have to use low settings but in the pes 2008 folder the settings are set to high and 1900/1200 so the patch has really knacked it up for me,

no ihave original game..and run it with the dvd...no craks and stuff..

i have an account..i enter rooms but cant play..always take this message..an error occured..or could not connect due to another user..

im trying 5 days to play i simple match.and now with the patch nothing happens

and also i dont have any problems with firewalls and routers..ive checked everything..

Why didn't Konami release a changelog with the patch like everybody else do.
Maybe because they didn't really fix some bugs, either do some things to believe us they fix something ????
 
peeps who can log on but not get in a room try this, disable ur network card and untick auto port settin in pes2008 settind, it worked for me
 
sounds like all the patch has done is add more security so u cant use a no-cd patch, sneaky bastards just lookin after ther pennies still, how about helpin us who paid £30 for the game to get a descent game online and doin a patch that will actually help online mode
 
I downloaded and installed the patch. It is awful. First I get many errors while logging in an than I manage to play a match. It is worse than before and there is tearing in the picture too. Horribe Konami. Well done eh!!!!!!!! I guess they have to do a patch to patch the patch now.

Almost every patch to every game won't work with no-dvd's because KONAMi simply modify the .exe file, and that means overwriting it ;)
 
it seems this year you have to invent the wheel to play PES. And thinking that I bought an 8800GTS just for it.
 
Getting the tearing too, its not even a compromise, they've added tearing and the lag/players telporting about is just as bad as before, whats the point of releasing a patch that makes things worse?
 
I have installed the game at C:/PES2008 and the patch wont install for me. It says the directory is wrong. I dont really want to shift all of my files across or reinstall as my HD is very slow.

What should I do?
