Konami's patch is already here!!

This is awful news.

When Fifa 08's Next Gen 5 vs 5 comes out it will spell the end for my copy of PES2008. Im not even a Fifa fan boy, but PES2008 online is THAT bad! :(

yer i think thats a big prob m8, i noticed the game ran as if vsync was disabled, how do u know its defo disabled wen online?
 
first, i made a match in online mode... "disabled vsync" was there, with a not-so-hard-lag... vsync thing was a disappointment, i quit the game, and after a few mins i made an offline match. vsync was enabled, gameplay was smooth and framerate issues in replays etc. were gone...

any ideas how to enable vsync in online mode?

I strongly suspect that this is an issue with peoples network connection setup, but as Konami are rapidly proving themselves to be an inept bunch of cretins - they leave everyone completely in the dark with regard to what network settings are required to play. I doubt a patch is going to rectify this kind of problem. Leave it to the community to figure out/fix it!... along with the rest of the game.
 
patch worked fine for me. no more jerky jumpy shite. All i need now is a patch to stop disconecters.
 
do they mention on the site what the patch is for?

I mean, a little info never harmed anyone

i played the fifa 08 pc demo...which is not next gen i guess.

I'd rather moan over here about pes then play that piece of #$%$%^$%^%
 
I just got that kit-server, and put my resolution on 1280*1024, its fine now. I wont even bother going online cause i hate playing online.
its all fine here, and the gameplay is as good as hell, i really like it. So i wont change a bit about it, no fps drops either.
 
no change log as they changed nothing .... seabass go write a book how to ruin a brilliant game .. top seller sure
 
fuk this i am re-installin pes6 that was well better than this peice of shit, i dont want a refund or anythin but how the fuk do konami get away with sellin somethin that doesnt do wot it says???
 
What happens is V sync is disabled which improves the online play a bit.. if you force V Sync on, (on your G- card driver) you get the same old shit as before.. This game is a fukking disgrace online..

We would be able to if EA were not so unbelievably lazy as to not give PC users the next gen version. If the useless buggers at Konami could manage it EA could have done it easily.

you can solve this by making sure your graphics card settings have v-sync always on. It worked for me.
 
A small note for those of you who seem to have missed our warez sticky: Talking or asking about cracks in here or similar methods to make this patch run without owning the original game will get your ass banned. We'll also monitor PMs from now on. Thanks for your attention.
 
Patch seems to have improved:

GK's catching the ball alitte more often.
FPS, improvement of 1 or 2 fps in normal gameplay
Replays seem to have better fps by ~10

Still, this is nowhere near complete. Konami better be working on another patch as we speak, cos if they think all the problems are fixed, im going to flip.

What about saving without a gamepad problem? :)
 
I think some of you are just making this up... there is no official changelist, and it was said it for for online-only, yet some of your are saying there are FPS increases and keepers catching the ball more often...

Hello placebo effect.
 
what files does this patch changes??
can anyone post these files here?? cuz i dont have my pes2008 dvd here..and it dont install!
