Kitserver Tutorial/Help

Hi,

I am hoping somebody here can help me.

I'm new to the pc version of PES 2009, I have seen all the great patches for kits, boots, stadiums etc. Unfortunately I have really no clue as to how to implement them into the game.
My only experience patching a PC game was with cricket 07 which was simply a case of copy and pasting the patch into the games installation file.

I have installed Kitserver as it says in the online manual but after this I am stuck. I can not locate the file C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\kitserver\img or can not find the GDB file or any of the 'CV.img' files.

If anyone can offer a tutorial for a complete noob or any advice about what I am doing wrong it would be much appreciated. I hope it is something simple as I have read here that Kitserver is very easy to use!

Thank you

When you install kitserver, you usually don`t have all the folders, but when you need one, just create it, name it accordingly, and put the right files in it.

This question is going to sound pretty dumb..when will I need one? And how will I know what to call it?
Are both Kitserver and AFS Explorer 3.7 required to patch PES 2009?

thanks

When you download something, like a new game menu, it has it`s folders named as they should be, and you just put them in your kitserver\img folder. OR, for a file you downloaded there should be an explanation where to put it. If you don`t have the folder needed, you create it and put the file in it.

No, kitserver is a much better option, because you can easily add and remove game add-ons/patches. With AFS Explorer you usually change the game`s original files, putting the patched stuff directly into them.

I had no problem setting up kitserver in PES 6, but I'm having difficulties mapping kits and boots in 09.

I've downloaded a load of ball, boot and kit bin files. I've put the kits img folder, in their respective img folders, but it doesn't seem to work The boots and balls are in the GDB folder. Help?!
