Juventus Thread

I agree guys, I never wanted Zlatan at the club, I was hoping Cassano would arrive. I'd be happy if he is carted off in the summer along with 1-2 others. Patrick last week was asking the borad to reignite his partnership with Cesc....granted he's good but we had Enzo Maresca who is far better then Cesc however we let him.
Here's for a better future Forza Juve

Many clubs would sell their soul to be where you are now.

The way we went out of Europe, in practically the same helpless way two seasons in a row now hurts deeply. But yes, we juve fans are spoiled(and arrogant), due to winning the scudetto so often(and this season so 'easily'). Expectations were very high.

Amid controversy and a title race that’s not yet over, Juventus fans are flocking to the sold-out Stadio Delle Alpi for Sunday’s game with Palermo.

The Turin arena is famously unpopular with supporters and rarely manages attendances of more than 35,000, but less than 900 tickets remain available for the last home match of the season.

A combination of factors has led to this situation, as Juve have offered some tickets at just five Euros, while fans are eager to be part of the Scudetto celebrations should Milan slip up in their encounter at Parma.

The Bianconeri faithful are also trying to show their confidence in the club after a week in which the Luciano Moggi phone-tap scandal and subsequent FIGC investigation has seen increasingly strong allegations hit the headlines.

An anonymous representative of the Agnelli family, who own Juventus, was quoted on the ApBiscom news agency this evening on the situation and the future of the Triade of directors: Antonio Giraudo, Roberto Bettega and Moggi.

“Our silence is not a sign of disinterest, but above all because we wish to leave the team in peace ahead of one of the most important games of the season,” said the source.

“After the end of the campaign, that could see a deserved Scudetto go to Juve, we will act. We want to understand and evaluate what has happened. The directorial structure of the club will be decided in September in the shareholders’ meeting.”

As for the team, they continue to hold their Press silence, but reporters at the training ground suggest that Fabio Cannavaro and Mauro German Camoranesi have recovered from their injuries, but Federico Balzaretti is a major doubt to face Palermo.

Jonathan Zebina is expected to start in defence, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic partnering David Trezeguet, pushing Alessandro Del Piero on to the bench:(

john elkann has expelled moggi and giraudo from juventus for next season

That's just speculation as of now, nothing substantial is out yet. Though Bettega WAS crying at the end of the game today.

About Moggi's case, the prosecutors said there was nothing important regarding the alleged recorded calls, they admitted it...so nice try...:applause:

There was a banner 'We are with you Luciano, hands off Triade' today at Scirea...8)

I can hardly say I'm suprised by the timing of this. Especially seeing as Gazzetta is the lead on the story, of course they don't have ulterior motives. .. (tongue firmly in cheek);)

It takes time...to count 29 titles

Quote of the day came from Capello: "“Berlusconi was talking like a fan. Don’t forget that the telephone transcripts also mention someone who works for Milan and that’s all I’m going to say.”

Thank god the press silence is over & I was pleased with Del Piero's reassuring words that he would stick with us if we went to B. You just can't get loyalty like that anymore. :applause: \\:o/

FORZA JUVE

Spare a thought for Patrick Vieira....he went off to Turin to seek a better chance to win the ECL, but is possibly gonna end up challenging for the Serie B/C title(!).

It's not all bad...with the downgrade of the Dello Alpi, you'll have a stadium fit for Serie B action! (ouch!)

I doubt they'd get relegated. Money makes the game run, and i think there are too many powerful people behind the four clubs to allow them to be relegated.

However, i've heard there are calls for Lippi to resign now as national coach after his four hour testimony in Rome on the weekend.

The ball rolls on..... (no pun intended)

Any news on the alleged scandals? Sky Sports News today said Juve could be stripped of their title and demoted to Serie C!

EDIT: I can't believe how quiet it is in here! Where are the 'Juve is the best team in the world' fans!? Capello has resigned, too!

This could be the end of Juve!

they'll come back up eventually and the big names will flock back, imo

Yea pretty sure this will be the case. It will be tough don't be fooled, but Juve will have the name, the money and the time to get back.

Most teams will probably loan players out. Diego Milito is still a Genoa player, but is on a 2 year loan deal at Zaragoza. Genoa were meant to go to Serie A but got busted to C1 last summer.
