Is anyone else having problems?

Numerous people on the EAUK forums, myself, and MONG A LONG are all having problems getting into the game.

edit: Ok, everyone, if you are having problems with getting to the menu, or past the 'Ronaldinho screen'. Go to dashboard, sign out of XBL. Go into FIFA, get into the menus, then sign in. Should solve it.

Only got in at five to and I had to do a really really big poo. Sorry. I'll play the second game though.

I ran into the dressing room as soon as Jay said the second game was starting but there was nobody there. :eh:

Absolutely unplayable for me, I should have quit after the first match but I thought it might get better. Constant lag, impossible to play. In the last game I couldn't hear anyone, just the other team when the play stopped.

Yesterday was a dream compared to today, I only had slow response times then. My head hurts from the stuttering movement of the laggy camera...

Yep, if every game is like these last two I've been involved in then I don't understand how people play it, it's been a nightmare so far.

EDIT: Just pressed clearance and the guy headed it two inches forward... Which lead to a goal for them... Sorry lads. Really really shit being a defender/midfielder with this lag. I had two or three nice touches as well, I've always been in there with the top rated players after each match but when it lags like that what can you do. Really fucking annoying.

We really need to sort positions and it should be just the managers that can press A to start a game because most of you are bloody A button happy.

I got an eight in the last game, bet nobody even realised. The defenders never get any credit. :CRY:

It's a good idea but if that lag is anything to go by it needs fixing, and every game is 5-0 one way or the other. That's my lot for tonight.

get on ventrilo or speakeasy then play ps3 then translation wont get lost

That lag isn't always like that, we've played many 10v10s lagless, but today was awful. :(

Might be one of us of course.

Not a great day, but great last game all. Shall we try specific positions for next time?

Our strikers were on fire when we beat Man Utd 5-0 away.
It was also my first go playing at RB. Think I did OK - a couple of last ditch sliding tackles and a clearance off the line :))

Applause all round - makes up for the thrashings we got before that!

A few of us continued on for a few games after that 5-0 mauling. We won another 3 or 4 games and drew the last one. Improved out stats considerably.

After warming up I was banging in goals all over the place. Got 4 in another 5-0 win. :D
Does the game keep any stats for the Clubs BAP play? Would like to see my goals the games ratio now. :(

Stats are kept after a certain number of games are played.

I will be on at 9pm Friday, if you guys want to meet up every night and play that's great but if I do that I'll get sick of it - I have to spread all my games out. :eh:

We really do need to specify positions, after last night I don't ever want to be a CB again, with that lag you might as well be a ghost. LB/RB was fun but I'd rather be a midfielder to be perfectly honest, nobody fucking notices you! I ran into some great wide positions to counter-attack and the pass would always go straight forward.

We had no trouble in picking out people in space because they asked for the ball

Well, as I have said, that lag is not normal. It is possible (highly possible) that someone who was regular in all those games yesterday caused the lag, but it may not be the case. We have played games with as many/more people without any fundamental lagging/warping/juddering. At worst, it's usually slightly lagged responses.

We do need to specialise to positions, as we play more games it will start to show our stats (some people now have their stats stored, my presumption is you need to play 10 games to get that to happen).

I played a few games on any, and I've concluded that, for most positions, we ALL need to edit our camera. The reason why you arent getting passed to when you are to the left, right, and back, is because you aren't visible to them. You can customise the 'Pro' cam, you can also press the 'back' button, and you can change camera altogether. All of which I think people in defence, and midfield should toy with. The only place it's not so damaging is as a forward, where the goal is a lot easier to hit.

All things considered, we will be able to start working out who is best where.

There were a lot of bugs with voice chat. Couple of games in a row we couldn't hear eachother totally. I had a game where it was just me and Jaygrim who could hear eachother. So that's a major problem on EA's end.

Agree with all of that Rodelero. I had the tele cam on but it resets the height/zoom after each game - I like it zoomed all the way out. So that took some getting used to.

But I also noticed that, because I have the camera locked to me rather than the ball (you have to if you're playing in defence), I couldn't see any of the goals going in, which was frustrating. So I'll be trying the BAP camera next time.

I'm taking a brake from the team until I move to my new apartment with a better connection, it's just unplayable for me. Played shit every game because of it so I wont be missed hehe.
