Me too , but as @drigOrange said , Japan tends to be more futuristic and I'll discuss this from my own perspective and analysis , when i was young ( i was born in 1999) , I was used to fifa as I wrote earlier in this thread because of my father and how he was obsessed with fifa , he was a huge supporter for man united and england national team , I'll tell you why I relate to old or retro gaming which is an important thing before internet exploded now , my father used to write tactics on paper different formations and how to win the world cup using england and how each national team actually plays in game , he used this in fifa 05 and fifa 02 and fifa 07 , he bought me as a birthday gift the first fifa cd I've ever played ever it was fifa 2002 demo then full game , my mind was blown at time and fell in love with it immediately, we used to create different tactics , different formations , and as he was working he'll return home and ate lunch and just play fifa long match everyday in his group stages or knockouts as england , between halfs he usually goes to smoke and then we talk about it , it was good days I'll not tell everything as this will be so long 😅 , anyways , as I've began playing pes in 2010 it was the complete opposite , pes provided more fantasy element and soul , and more realism , my father instantly love it , and we came with a conclusion that fifa is more of a practical game , pes is actually a game , so why I was telling this story ? , it's because that when I started playing pes game over game and played previous 2010 till PS1 era and then afterwards 2010 , 2011 was the most solid game TACTICALLY , I was disappointed then that it didn't have any j league game , mode or anything , let me tell you when I started playing pes it was the ps2 and pes on ps2 is the best pes till now because it offered everything actually , more national teams , more modes , lots of creativity, unique gameplay and more tactics , but let's return to our original point that Japan is more futuristic and progressive mindset , 2012 broke the realism of 2011 and became total free game , it's like pes 2011 was a cube of ice and pes 2012 is that cube melted , and pes 2013 became water after that cube melted , as they're futuristic they can easily skip the past and progress forward , something like letting go of the past is how I see konami , they didn't focus on PS2 in those times 2011-2014 , even though they're great games and no they're not the same there's differences in gameplay player models etc , but they focused more on ps3/xbox360 , then what proves this point is 2014 .. they even neglected their own national team licence in pes version which was a huge disappointment for me since I'm a huge Japan and j league supporter , so afterwards the game started to be more futuristic and not the game we played , so when I play pes I usually just play 2012 or 2013 or 2011 , sometimes j league we 9 ac is the best in terms of content and gameplay , Japan has a quality which is respect called being humble and don't have a huge ego , that's how why they didn't have j league in those games even though it's the base in each game data .. , was playing toy story 3 on ps3 these last few days and I heard that they made a remake for it on next gen consoles , I think now konami needs to do something about this because we the retro gamers or I should say the people who actually love pes wants to play pes as we knew it , if they're futuristic enough they can make a remake of we 2010 aoki combined with j league 2010 game with 2008 gameplay engine with ps2 graphics or ps3 pes 2012 graphics, that is an example as they did with winning eleven 9 , they combined the aoki samurai content (Japan challenge ) with j league 1&2 , adding asian clubs and European clubs , international teams , and adding African clubs in the remake , you'll have perhaps the best pes game ever made and that was just an example .. but they're progressive and now kids who play "efootball" are impressed with it which is a "online game" but they don't know how we were actually impressed with what we had as I said earlier in my post that we used to write tactics on paper and actually play not like nowadays .. hope I added my point of view correctlyI wished Konami continued producing J-L WE on PS2 during the 2011-2014, or at least on PS3.
