It won't let me play the game.

Hi, I installed it last friday and ever since, whenever I try to open the game it immediately gives me this error, even before the pes 2008 logo appears at th bottom left.

I installed it on my friends pc who has the same spec as me and it worked fine, whats the problem, please help.

reinstall windows service pack 2 see if that solves the problem.

Yeah that didn't work, I've also installed the C++ redistributable package but that didn't help either.

Hard to find a solution because we don't know a thing about your pc.

Video card? Ram? Os?

Be sure you have the latest video drivers and directx, heard also it doesnt work if you have 4gb of ram or under vista 64bit.

Windows Xp sp2
2 gb ram
256 mb geforce go 6800
3 ghz cpu...etc

The thing is, the game worked properly for a few days. So it's not a capability problem. I have formatted the pc but still i got the same error message.
