Is the American version any better?

Was just about to head to the store to get my copy of PES 2008 in USA. Then I saw the bad ratings for it here, anyone know if the North American version that was released a few days ago is better than the European version? Or is it the same problems? Online problems too?

i didnt the pal version but the only thing that i can say theres no slowdown on the US version
 
For me at least, its laggier than PES6. Could be just my internet provider though. Apart from lag, it's a much better matchup system from the previous version. Also, i'm talking about the X360.
 
I got it today, will go on xbox live and see how good or bad it really is... Thanks for all the input.
