The best idea was the one that someone here suggested a while ago where 0-0 draws wouldnt give you a point and would count as a loss for both teams.
That way teams would atleast try to get a goal seeing how sitting back for the draw would be as bad as losing.
 
Of course i diasgree Runedge...
If a team like Wigan succeeds to have a 0-0 result at Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford, they damn well earned their point.
What could be done is give eacht team a point and play a prolongation of 15 minutes and the winner then has 1 bonus point.
Example:
Man Utd - Wigan 0-0 (or 1-1, or 2-2,...) after 90 minutes
2-1 after a prolongation of 15 minutes.
Wigan get one point
United 2.
 
Oh and then a winner in 90 minutes should get 4 points (the difference betweeb a draw and a win should always be 2 points at least)
 
Im sure they were saying the same things when the increased the points you won from 2 to 3 points yet here we are...
