...and I'm going to be lynched for posting this. But I have an Intel 945GM graphics card and can only play the game on low quality which is so highly pixelated I may as well be playing on a Master System II. I've installed kitserver 7.0.0 which gives me the option of overriding the heretofore inability to change from low quality to medium or high. High just mongs out completely, whereas medium is, as far as my peepers can deduct, exactly as poo as low.

I had some graphics issues on PES6 because my laptop runs Vista but I was advised by some sagacious lovely here to use 3D Analyzer and it solved the problem outright. I'm wondering if you think there'll be any similar such routes for me to seek this time round.

Regards.

Yes I remember posting a tutorial on my site a while back on how to use 3D Anaylze, have you tried it with PES2008?? It may help you.

Playing this game on a laptop with an integrated graphics is asking for trouble but hope you can.

Kindest regards,

i have a laptop and run vista, pro evo 6 was no problems at all so it was nothing to do with vista that was causing probs on your pes 6 , as for 2008 im having some glitches when the ball is played long or fast it tends to be sore on the eyes and a little jumpy, anyh1 know what i can do here ? do i need kitserver ? would this help and does it run on vista?

Well. I have a Toshiba laptop with Intel 945GM graphics card. I was unable to change to medium detail, but now I can (using Kitserver 7.0.0D).

I think its ok to play with medium detail. At least now I can choose grass pattern instead of playing with "no pattern" wich is awful. I play with frame skipping ON and Vsync ON. However I cant play in full screen mode, as lazy konami didn´t realize that playing in a laptop requires a proper widescreen option, so we can play without those fat players and stretched image.

I play 1024x768 windowed mode and I have no slowdowns, except on replays. I repeat, my graphics card is Intel 945gm, so you should have no problems. I also have Win vista.

Hm.. I've tried frame skipping ON with medium and it's a bit jerky, the replays are a total nonsense. What different might Vsync make?

It's a real gutter because I bought a new laptop in the summer, 2gb duo and 2mb RAM. It's as though you should buy based on the specifications on the game, rather than Konami catering for a vast array of the good specifications available.

emanuel you should be able to choose full screen as i can on my laptop, check the 4.3 instead of widescreen on the settings page konami/proevo2008/settings

what does kit server do then ?
NEVER USED IT ?

I'm having the exact same problem, except mine is a desktop PC and I have 82910/15G intel integrated graphics.

Please tell me if you find a solution as the pitch is terrible. The crowd not being there adds unrealism too :(

Playing a 2007 game on an Intel 945 is insania! I don't get why people constantly try and play games on laptops. Just so you can also be on a train? Gooood.

Pipe down. Given that Pro is the only game I play at all it'd be bent of me to buy my laptop based on how good it could run a game. However, given that I've got a very good laptop I should expect that contemporary games should run fine on the ruddy thing.
