Title sais it all pretty much? If you play PES 5 on a X-Box 360 will it create a x-box 360 save?

Simple answer yes it will create an option file if you tell it to when it asks.

Well what I am wondering is, will the 360 make it a 360 savefile or just stay with the old format?

The save will be in the old xbox format... Under the xplorer360 used with Xsata, you'll find the savefile exactly the same as under the old box, but it resides under drive3 - compability - xbox1.... But as I said it will be as a "KONAMI-XBOX-PES5OPT.xsv" file...
