I get an error when trying to launch PES 2008?

I installed it successfully but when I try to run it, it says unable to locate component "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I reinstalled it and it still says the same anyone else got the same error?
Is there a solution to fixing it?

You need to download and install the latest version (9.0c) of DirectX from Microsoft.

install direct x 9c..

I installed it it still has the same error
I had no problems running any other game so I know it's not the issue to do with direct x.

after having installed directx, reinstall the demo. that's what my mate had to do.

i'm having a similar problem, but it's not directx related as that's up to date.

when i click the install icon, it extracts, but then just when it's about to install comes up saying "DLL Load Error".. ive tried several things and the problem keeps happening, it has me tearing my hair out.. anyone else had a similar problem?

any help or advice would be very much appreciated..
