I am accidentally making forums read

and it is done by just clicking a forum column twice. it is annoying in my opinion. what kind of a workaround should I do?

I think there should be a preference to avoid this. But again, I am not a moderator/admin. So it will be forever like that - Homer will never be able to dial phone if he doesn't lose weight.

I've disabled it. If people want it back (meaning at least two), let me know.

Thank you. I thought it was useless - when you click Mark Read after entering a forum, it opts you again to click Mark Read. On the other hand - if you accidentally click twice, whole forum is read.

Indeed, this function is pretty nonsensical to have, you don't have to be a Karen to come to that conclusion.

It was installed because an older version of the forum software used to do that and people wanted it back after it was lost in an upgrade. It probably doesn't make sense any more with all the updates that have since been made. Just so you know its back story, Karens. x

I thought that this woman being named Karen was just random but I've just learned that it wasn't the case. 😂
