How to prevent COM scoring from nearly every cornerkick in ML?

Hello all,

I'm in my second season with my ML-team now and things are getting better and better. No chanceless losses anymore etc. :P

BUT, one thing that irritates me every time I'm playing against the COM: they get a corner and nearly every corner comes perfectly on the head of one of its teamplayers and they score!! And my players? They run away like they're afraid or something!!:RANT:

Is there any setting or tip/trick to defend these 100% dangerous corners?! I've lost i-don't-know how many points in the final minutes because of this :BRICK:

I leave my finger on sprint button and press shoot button in the direction I want it to go
 
Make sure you pull the defender back quickly who is standing nearest to the corner taker.
Cover the front post.
 
Yea, and press switch player to whoever is receiving the header and press A to knock it out.
 
mate you can switch to a defensive tactic formation[strategy plan A or B] while a corner is taken.......... this will crowd all the defenders and DMF in the box,........ all the players will be exactly marked ....... this is how i've been playing since PES 6:))
 
Allright, thanx for all your tips and tricks.
I allways did it the way MokBull does, but before the ball is at the "recieving" player, the ball is in the net already haha.

@ superleeds1: where do you exactly place your player?
@ freak 08: is this a 'standard PES' strategy plan, or do you make one yourself?
 
I always run him back between front post and attacker,
in 6 yd box.
 
push R2 and push the most dangerous player out of position always use square....
