What kind of code did you buy? If it's a Steam code, you should be able to redeem it in Steam and download the game there.

I've already managed to access EA FC, but it's not recognizing my joystick, could you recommend a good, cheap one?

Best bet is a Dualshock4 or Xbox controller.
