OK, my game plays ok, pretty smooth and fast but I think it can go a bit better. What settings should I use on my video card to get the best out of PES6. I see antialiasing and antiscopic filtering but dont know what they do....can someone help me get the best out of my game by suggesting what settings I should use??
Cheers

If you put a resolution on (640, 480) it gives the best performance and it doesn't affect game performace as a matter oh fact it makes it even better as I have had great experience with this resolution on a quite a few games and have heard from other people.
Also updating your graphic card definetly makes performance faster. Putting the quality to LOW also makes it super fast. But it just removes details like the name of players and crowd colour.
Adding more RAM, GHz of 3.0+ will be reccomended. Although I don't have that video card I got Ati xpress 200 though it works perfectly with my game. But the settings are more or a less the same performance with most new PCs.
Don't forget another this lag during online play ! Don't think its your PCs fault :D theres often lag during online play that decreases the speed and smoothness and it varies from opponent to opponent if you or your opponent has greater difference in broadband speed it cause bigger lag. if your opponent has great connection u will never have lag!
I hope what I have said was helpful :lmao:

AA and AF will kill your performance on that card, so don't turn them on, you're best off using lower graphics settings for max speed on Pro Evo, since it's not a game where the graphics are the most important thing.

Im playing on highest settings right now and the graphics are nice and clear. Whats the deal with refresh rate? I have it on 70 hertz at the moment, should I up it or what? My resolution is 1024 x whatever it is.
Do you think Im better off with it at 800x600? Im only getting SLIGHT slowdown, hardly noticebal but enough to know it shouldnt be there...

Do u get slowdowns during online play or normal play vs CPU?

Your better off with resolution 640x480 with 75 hertz. It entire depends on u what setting u want;)

nope the game has to run at 60hz with vsync on, and i mean has got to, that is the only way you get the true speed the game in ment to run at.

the 5500fx should be able to run it on these settings at 640x480 on medium settings.

 mate that really was helful;) I put it on 60 herts and was surprised that the ball moves alot smoother like ice hockey\\:o/ :king:

on my game at 60 hertz the ball seems to stutter a little when passed on the ground, when I put it on 70 hertz its nice and smooth. Im playing on high details, 1280x1024 and 70 hertz...

man it fuck ur eyes in 60 hertz !!! best is 85 for eye I have that graphic card and it's okay with 800x600 and 85 hertz ...

I hope i can run PES2008 with it too ... :(

Yes I agree 60 herts do hurt your eyes and it creates flashy lines in the screen. Well I put it on 75 hrts as it doesn't have that much differnce and from health point of view its better.

This is real shame for me because I use a CRT monitor, and 60Hz kills me, although I prefer CRT's over LCD/TFT \\:o/

At the moment I play at 1600x1200@70Hz

Before I used to play at 1024x768@200Hz
