Help Window 7 issue....

This is second time I've installed win 7. The last time I did I reverted back to XP because I had issues with choppiness in PES. I'm determined to have win 7 and get the same performance with PES as I had with XP. I installed it again and still have the choppiness issue with PES and now the gameplay has gotten faster for some reason. Does anyone have any suggestions as what could be the problem? I've tried everything. Here is my setup for the computer I play PES on. With XP I have no problems, framerate is smooth as can be. Im getting agitated.

Hi Mate,
if you are using kitserver, ramp up lodmixer settings a bit.
If its too fast, try the speeder module in kitserver to slow it down slightly.

You can also try d3d overider as this will force triple buffering and v-sync.

I have speeder at 85 and it still is crazy fast. I'll try to up lod and force triple and v-sync via my graphic card settings as it has those options. Lets hope.

win 7 handles the screen refresh rate a bit different than XP
so if you can choose 2 rates try the other one

also try to disable all 3rd party tools related to sound/video
disable the aero effects for pes.exe too

edit
if u have catalyst it doesnt apply it
settings.exe apply vsync and d3d overrider

How do I disable aero effects? Never seen that.

go to the directory where the pes.exe is
rigt mouse click and properties
then go to compatibility and enable second last option under settings
must be something like "disable desktop effects or aero"

Thanks for all the help. I'm slowly but surely(hopefully)getting there. Disabling aero helped. Still a bit choppy. But its alot better. Im still searching around here and the web for other options to help.

Thats good, you really need to download d3doverider ( its free)
and use to force triple buffering and v-sync though as the normal
ATI/Nvidia software doesnt actually force v-sync.
