I used to love online play , its one of the reasons I bought the game. However it really is pointless now. Konami's joke of a service will not have any more of my time.

Anyone else ?
 
Can't vote. There is no choice as: I can't connect into match room so I can't play an online match. What was buggy in PES6 is absolutely ridiculous and fu*ked up in PES 2008.
 
I only ever played 2 games, very early on, one of which was OK and one was double speed. I haven't bothered trying again and won't until I hear the problems have been sorted. But then I didn't play online a whole lot with PES6 either.

already sell it to my friend this is th worst pes to date...
 
Tried about 3 games and was really pissed off with the quality (i had no problems on PES6) so i'll be skipping it until its vastly improved.
If does'nt get fixed then i'll just not bother.
I'll just stick to playing the PS2 version with my mates,beer and pizza.\\:o/
 
I've just stopped playing the game, period.

It's a real shame; the drive and motivation to play just isn't present in this rendition of the series.
 
This time last year I was staying up until all hours playing PES6 Master League and failing my exams because of it. Sure it wasn't the best PES, but I played it for 10 months non-stop without getting bored or going to a different game, and that has to be worth something.

Fast Forward to now, bought the game, played it on the first day and was horrified. I gave it lots more chances and often found myself just quiting matches from frustration.

I returned this joke of a game and got the new Football Manager.

PES6 - Played for 10 months.

PES2008 - 2 weeks.

Says it all.
 
Never atcually got to play a full game online as it disconnects me everytime after seconds of play. Must say i feel totally let down by everything about pes2008. First kick in the teeth no 2v2 online play, then comes no LAN support which apparently going to be available then last but not least online problems ranging from lag to people not being able to get at all like myself. Also just like to say if Konami want to redeem themselves they better make it quick as i've about lost patience with the game as i know most players already have
 
Can i ask why everyone isn't playing pes6 until they fix the lag in pes 2008 ? english lobby usually has 20 people in these days.
 
U can say bad things about PES 2008. Yes it has problems, but don´t expect me to back to buggy PES 6. Awful cutbacks + inter + zlatan + adriano + stamina ridiculous drop + poor graphics. If PES 5 servers were online, or if we could play PES 3 online, I would consider going back.. but PES 6... no way.. still prefer PES 2008

Buggy PES 6? Maybe your game is buggy but PES 6 is superior in almost every way to 08.

If you prefer 08 then that's fine but I don't agree that 6 is buggy.

Perhaps you hadn't patched 6 with most of the excellent modifications from people sharing with this site. My PES6 runs superb and looks next gen.:D

I had some PES 6 patches. The question is that in PES 6 you can see that Inter and Chelsea are a step ahead of all other club teams... the passing is better, defending is easier, and it´s hard as hell to challenge Adriano and Zlatan. I played PES 6 too much time.. I can´t stand it anymore. Still prefer PES 2008. But even better is PES 3 or PES 5, but no online play on those... I don´t like to play offline (only with friends), so I stick with PES 2008.

Hard as hell to challenge Adriano and Zlatan on PES6? Sure...

Almost impossible to challenge Adriano and Zlatan on PES2008...and Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Messi, Henry, Eto'o, Saha, Gerrard, Rooney.

PES2008 is rediculously balanced towards the better players, FAR too much. Even average players are almost indestructable when on a red condition arrow.

It was too much in PES6....never mind 2008, thats just stupid.

Terrible game, uninstalled on my PC, Seabass has even admitted he didn't want to release it, so anyone who actually thinks the game is good must be on some goooood drugs.
 
It's sad but I have stopped playing altogether, my eyes can't take it on PS3 and I have the game on PS2 but have yet to play it... I've crossed to the dark side and are trying to re tune my brain...
 
I am seriously thinking about going back and install PES6 but then again they will soon close down the servers for it:( And I basically play this game for online.
 
ive had no problems online in the last few days. its around 90% like offline for me.
Thats playing people in UK, france, portugal, spain.
Although i do play late at night around midnight and after.
 
Well i just thought i would try the online game side of things. Had the game since release and am enjoying it.
I open game and select network. Konami tell me i need a patch. I download the patch and re-boot game. Now i am told an error occured every time i attempt a connection! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. I only really bought this because my pes2006 online account had been closed by konami. Talk about being ripped off!!!
 
If you bump into a guy called ferba don't play him he's a disconnect cheat. He picks the worst teams then disconnects before the match starts.And yes he has no losses at the moment.

The games I had the other night have made me scared to venture back online. My back 4 were vanishing on me.
 
Playing online now is utterly farcical.You can have one or 2 games that aren't that bad but 99% of the time its just rubbish.If you have any kind of respect for your stats (not position on the ladder who cares about that?)don't bother at all.

Also the fact you can be playing someone who is obviously rubbish but if they choose Barca or someone like them not only are they unstoppable on the ball but your own team seem to become worse doing stupid passes missing the ball when kicking it amongst other things and you end up getting beat.
 
I just sold my version of pes today and am dissapointed with the game overall not just online.

I went back to pes3 to play that and enjoyed it so much and imo was the most enjoyable game to play without it being too realistic, just wish it had online :( would of owned!
