Goalkeepers

Is it just me, or are the goalkeepers in PES 2008 absolutely rubbish? Most of the goals I've scored so far are from corners, because keepers usually stand around on the goalline and do nothing . And also they make a lot of weird and horrible mistakes. Sometimes they just stand around while a player shoots from distance, I've seen too many 25m+ goals already. And sometimes they just make the weirdest blunders. They actually remind me as a bunch of clowns.
I've checked three times and the level is really on top player, so that isn't the problem. What has Konami done to our poor goalies?? :mrgreen: :lmao:

I hear ya.

Any decent striker can slot the ball under the keeper 90% of the time. Take a pop-shot and the keeper fumbles it into the net. Volleys are consistently on target. It's all too easy!

This is great game for kids, booting the ball around and scoring lots of goals without much skill. It's lost the suspense in build-up, effort and reward that made PES6 brilliant.

Maybe my mind will change after online goes online. But TBH a bit bored of it already.

yup, it actually reminds me of that horrible EA game.. what's it called again?

now I get field hockey scores lik 4-4, 7-3, etc

I just won 10-0 in the world cup final every long shot went in it's a joke glad i didn't pay for it.
Will be sticking to pes6 online k thanks.Mark my words come tomorrow night or soon you will see complaints every online game being 5-5 6-5 etc etc yes that have messed up big time and i hope they learn from all the deserved harsh criticism coming their way.
This is a fifa pes hybrid of a game takes the worst parts of fifa and moulds them in to pes.
