Future Winning Eleven: PS3!!! discuss

Blimey you guys have been busy!

Been out all day and am totally gutted to see no news today. The worst thing is that its all the searching is gonna start again soon! Its nearly 7am in Japan so another day is almost starting.

Just wanna say thanks to all the guys asking about my dad, hes back home now. Was a regular check after he had a heart bypass operation last month. We've got a real nice atmosphere and community feeling in this thread, thanks to everyone for that! :)

Ive finally had some sort of contact from my friends. They've been reporting on Sonys Gamers Day so have been busy. After calling me stupid for thinking Konami would announce the game there (US show, Game being released in Japan etc), he said its a matter of time for them to show it. He presumes its because this month developers are announcing loads of games so they're trying to anounce WE11 at the right time to get full exposer.

One thing he did say was that right now wouldnt be good because of Square Enix's event along with Sonys Gamers Day just passing. He thinks it more likely next week, although he really doesnt have a clue. He, like us, cant wait for the news to come out. He said the same for Fifa 08, which gets me doublely excited :)

Interesting to read that it's not the right time for Konami to announce their WE11 because of the Squenix Party, the Sega Conference, the Sony's Gamers Day, etc ...

I had not thought of that before ... but it's logic.

Looking up more closely at the pic of C.Ronaldo i think it could be true.If it was a REAL pic of C.Ronaldo wouldn't you think that theirs too much lightning around the cheeks and his forehead.I believe this could be the first genuine pic of the next gen WE11.

the gfx looks good enouf even with a dvd9 with 8gb
for me im hoping the 18GB is for a kick ass data base with tons of players and leagues and sh1t;)

im starting to believe the 18GB stuff but when you think about it, it shouldn't surprise people. Konami have been working on the PS3 dev kit for a long time way before they started on the 360 game, add to that 25/50GB BD and everything adds up.

18gb!? What would happen with the x360 version if that´s true? I was thinkin about buying a x360, but this kind of news make me wonder if I should get a ps3 instead...
 
18 Giga sounds very likely to me, Xbox360 version is 6 gigas and it has only 8 stadium, no editor, usual small database and low quality textures. Not to difficult to believe a next gen WE is gonna be 18 gigas.

Anyway did u guys check the new konami baseball game??? graphics engine is really good so I am sure pro evo is gonna kick asses this time around. Almost about time, I am planning to buy a PS3 with the 60 euros a month formula. I figured out I gotta drink some 10 pints less a month and avoid late nite kebabs and french fries........
