Future Winning Eleven: PS3!!! discuss

That's how I feel as well, the 360 pad fits your hands perfectly and the analog sticks are in the perfect places. Trying to control two analog sticks so close to eachother now on the PS2/PS3 is really uncomfortable, my thumbs ache after ten minutes.

But you get used to what you get used to. If I hadn't have stuck with the 360 for 18 months now then I would still be using the PS pads. In fairness though, there are times when I play PES (and just PES) where I think back to my old button configuration and press the wrong button (the old FIFAs - pre 2000 - used to use :triangle: as sprint, and so I've always configured PES to be the same, but now that the new FIFAs won't let you change the buttons I've been forced to use the right trigger as sprint, which I forget sometimes).

the triggers on the 360 pad are too big to play with for a footie game. there only good for a first person shooter where you can use it as a shooting button. if you can play every genre of a game on a ps3 pad comfortably with no major problem and on the 360 you have a problem with the game you play the most(pes) and which is not good to use the d-pad for then most people would prefer the ps3 pad. also the buttons (y etc) are stiff and dont have the diferent degrees of sensitivity to them + the buttons are round which is not a good feeling on you hands when you press them or play a game for long period i.e new pes for 7 hours, as you get blisters. the ps3 butons are flat so they don't press into your skin but relieve the pressure over a larger surface area which is a better feel. have you seen the size of the pad. it's like a frisbie.

''people talk bollox! dont they ! i admit that PES/WE plays a thousand times better on a PSX pad ! but to make that coment about the other games is just somebody not thinking!''

what is this form about. pes!!!!!!! if that game plays shite on the xbox pad then the xbox pad seems very shit too me then. pes is the game with one of the most follwers and fan sites. so people buy a console the wanna play the best footie game out there . and baggio seems he likes footie alot, so i would expect that he would to play it on the pad he would get the most joy from. also i play on d-pad and everbody knows how the 360 d-pad is. yo baggio and jack what do you guys use or anybody else?
i heard that europeans use the stick more often and the asians use the d-pad. everybody i know uses the d-pad.

one thing that the new pes should not have is the japanese pop retro music , it drives you crazy when doing negotiations and having to restart when someone does not come and all you can hear is that crap. they definately need to make it harder it's way to easy on 6 star, they need to go up 9 star in the new one and add another two divisions so you build up you team slowly. the money need to be realistic ( in the millions ) and have realistic transfer figures so it feels leke real football. and when you start with the default team you should start of with 200,00 pes points but good players cost around 8.000.000 or more like messi 37,000,000 pes points, to make it more of a challenge. also the players valuse go up too fast so if i have a decent player there values go crazy after 3 seasons and is not realistic of that persons potential. it make it too easy and you should be able to eran money/pes points from your stadium . i.e how many fans come to your match and watch the gaem. i.e nou camp 98.000 will be sick . you should be able to set the ticket price yourself and the capacity depend on what division you are in what team you got and if you are playing well and scoring loads of goals and if you have a galactico to attract the big crouds and make money back of the big transfer signings that way. they should iclude a youth team , so you can develop home grown talent which always feels more of a complishment and joy that you nurtured a player to become a star if you want to or leave it to happen automatically as some people may not like spending loads of time on the master league. be great if you could have the edited version of yourself with your actual stats and then bring yourself through the youth team and then play yourself even though your shit and become good one day.

Fingers crossed they actually show us something from the PS3 at the show otherwise i might have to book a ticket to Japan and get some bullet proof vests so i dont get sniped before i reach the door at Konami.

Here is a japanese site that i've translated where the guy backs up what i think will happen. Basically when a new sony console comes out, the older one (PS2) begins to use the year therefore WE2007, while the PS3 edition will be WE11 as we saw with the PS1 --> PS2. The link is below:

Yeah, thats true HAN, but for some reason they are only specifying the PS2 version on this website. It seems strange and i really hope that they show the PS3 version for all our sakes!

i hope it is shown as a surprise on the 23rd. could be an NDA until the 23rd. i mean im not saying they are definetly not gonna show the game on the 23rd because we dont know, but from that site it seems like they will be showing the PS2 WE2007CC. all the news we have gotten up until now was pointing at them showing and possibly having a playable version at the show. but at this moment in time i would take just a presentation at the show!!!

The French Florent Dabadie is the new "Bench Reporter" of the JWE2007CC and probably the next WE too, with KAiWAi and Vanished we try to contact him !

R U SURE?

Dont listen to them mate, its total bs.

All I can say is PES7 is definately confirmed for Europe this year. As Konami UK told us, it will be released on all nextgen systems usual time. I guess that means late Sept/early Oct.

So if the UK version is defo this year, why the hell would the Japanese version get put back till next year?

I think common sense is needed.
