Awesome news! So if Famitsu have seen the game that might mean a preview in their next issue :)

Its incredible to think the game is 19.2gb BEFORE audio.

It does sound like Sony are pumping a lot of money into this game. I doubt they're paying for the game to be made, but like they've done with MGS4 Im sure they're gonna pay for advertising and production/distrubution costs. Microsoft do it all the time (Bioshock, Mass Effect etc) with third party developers to gain some sort of exclusivity period. I guess with Sony all they want is a different version.

Yep Suff, this is going to be a hard day for me. Im really confident its our time, as are a lot of people, but Liverpool are in the final by credit. Its gonna be tough.

in my honest opinion i think this is a great act by sony for all of us (Pro/We Fans)
 
I think this is ment to be a move from Sony in the battle PS3 vs Xbox. That why they finance it, I guess. This can make a lot of people to buy the PS 3.

im so totaly exicetd,when u see that base ball game gfx and metal gear shit looks awsome from Konami,I CANT WAITT.
this game wil ONLY pwn kick ass on ps3.
It would be kick ass if konami could rls a DEMO in JP PSN in summer

I dont understand tho what some of you have got against the 360 tho.

Granted the 1st game was poor, but now they have had a year to improve the mistakes, it will be better.

And they wont make the ps3 version any different.

Mark my words.
 
I sincerely hope i'm wrong (because i'm a PES fan(-boy) just like all who come here), but i it's possible that lots of people will be disappointed when the game will be playable...once again, let's hope not, but still...

I can ony speak for myself. I have nothing against the 360. I was just disappointed that so many things were left out. I took my conclusions when I compared the 360 version with that of the PC and the PS 2.
For me it was clear that Konami always has Playstation-priorities and decided to buy the PS 3 ( also for other reasons, but this was the main reason ) to make sure I get a complete version of the next PES.
Looks like I made the right choice :)

You are, the most succesfull english and italian teams of all time are playing each other. An english team that has beaten the spanish, dutch and english champions on their way to the final, while the Italian team has beaten the scottish and new english champions while also beating Bayern (were they german champions?). They are the two top european teams atm.

On topic:

Hopefully they can release some news on this and clarify the 360 vs ps3 rumours.
 
I'am pretty concerned right now that the 360 version will be inferior to the PS3 version.. Although Konami has always supported the Playstation I could have guest buying a 360 would lead to this situation..

But still I think it is pretty damned lame to ask lots of ponds\euro's for a game which isn't fully finished, but nonetheless, I love my PES6 on the 360..
 
We don't know if this informations about PS3 version with 19,2Go is true or not, but we know already the PS3 is the leading system for the next gen version and that it's official.
 
210,000,000 Yen = 1,750,000$
It's nothing for Sony when you are sure to sell more than 8 millions of PES/WE in the world in one year on the PS2/PSP versions.
