Future Winning Eleven: PS3!!! discuss

PS3 version is separate and is being worked on from 2005... then they will do 360 port based on that game...


According to who? They said last year that the PS3 version would use the same engine as PES6 360

the 360 version is based on the next gen but only for body, but for the rest is from PS2 (animations, stadiums, textures etc...)
 
This anxiety for the new game tells one thing: the last one was a huge disappointment.........40 euros for a pes5 patch with a broken on line service did really pissed me off. 0-text, o-sound were identical to pes5. WTH????

So this time aroubd if they do not come up with a decent one I won't buy the product for the first time in 5 years.

Ah one more thing: with the new consoles the game is first made for pc and then ported. I remember reading that in many interviews that SeaBass gave last year.

Yes, I read that too, but I think they make an exception for the PS3.
The PC will be ported to the other consoles, I guess.
 
I read that too, but I think that was fith PES 6, and the later discussions, from reliable sources implie that now the SKU is on Playstation 3..

But as with every bit of information we get, we need to wait and see wat were rumours and what was true.
 
now am really thinking that game will not come out for the PS3 this year maybe next year coz the console doing very bad at the moment and so many games pushed back to 2008 sony face abig fail this time and they have to beat it now six mounth for a system cost $600 and with out any title to enjoy ...

do you believe guys that i did`nt play with my ps3 more then 3 mounths and when i went to any store to buy some game i dont find any to buy !! all games are SH** so .. hope sony will do something :/

that why i dont blame konami if they did`nt give any news or any thing about the game coz the future of the console until now unknown so they dont want to lose more like what happened with xbox 360 PES6 also Winning eleven will be out in Japan ,, and the japanes people prefer Wii to PS3 right now :/

Very true, I think from late 2007 PS3 will have some decent one, but 2008 is gonna be the crucial year. I mean now Xbox360 will see three big games: BioShock, Mass Effect and Halo3. They might be bad news for sony.......
 
and by the way for any one that say its offical from konami to be out this year .. its not a big reason so many games were offical and from big comapies and pushed back or even did`nt come out like mass effect i think it was for nintendo before and canceled right ? so the big thing that we have to worry about its the PS3 and Sony

Yap Peter Moore did a good job with all those new and old exclusives. God knows why those japs screwed up so much with delays, no decent games and losing almost all the exclusives.

Still i don't trust microsoft though........:roll:

Thomas, I think but I am not sure, that i read it in EDGE magazine, Or any other business related magazine, I already looked in my Old edges but so far nothing, and i am aswell working at the same time, I am gonna look it up, and at the same time I dont know what was the outcome of this..

I think it has to do with new laws on competition in business, like the microsoft case in Europe.

The specs pretty much tell us that where one console comes up short, it makes up for it in other spots.

All I know is that so far, neither console has kicked the other's butt when it comes to graphics and gameplay. Pretty much equal.
 
Big Question Guys:

Do any of you know if people playing Winning Eleven can play against people playing PES?

I was thinking, for example on the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live. Lets say i was playing Winning Eleven X and my friend was playing PES6 both on Xbox 360 and both playing on Xbox Live. Would we be able to play against each other?

Because when i get Winning Eleven 11 on PS3, apart from people who import it, which will be most of the guys on this forum we will mainly be playing against Japanese people. When PES7 is released for PS3 in europe will we be able to play against them using Winning Eleven?

Its a weird question and im sure the answer will be no, simply due to the regional restrictions with the Playstation Network and differences between Winning Eleven and PES in gameplay. But i thought i was worth asking.

no its not that, i know ps3 is not doing well at the moment but thats not the case.
i been reading diferent forums about we/pes for years, & konami its known of not giving much information. we/pes was always secretiv about they game, its more likely that we ll hear some news about the game next month, thats what they normaly do every year from what i remember ( i am waiting to hear the 1st news from thomasgoal adonis etc... as they are always first, providing as with the letest information thanx guys;))
anyways the botom line is, yes the game i belive it will defenetly support ps3, as sabba is a big ps fan,
+ he also belives that all his we/pes funs that supported the game on ps2, will buy the counsel(ps3) sooner or latter, (maybe when the price will drop) so yes the fature of we/pes series belong to ps3.
