Freakishly Realistic Gameplay PS3

Same here mate,thats what I am trying to tell the people knocking the game already.
 
I dont get it....I cant get the game to run like that :(

Both of you, can you confirm all your settings in the settings.exe and your Nvidia COntrol Panel?

either the graphics look pretty crap, or the game runs too fast (particular video) or too slow! :(

You have to use vsync through GPU control panel...and disable frame skipping....BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A STRONG PC....

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ stock level (2.6ghz)
4gb RAM (XP uses 3gb)
BFG GeForce 8800 GT 512mb

Would also like to know all of your other settings in your GPU Control Panel... :)

have you managed to get it working so the replays are very smooth AND the gameplay is too?

1 some starting replay animation (like dissapointment or something else) is slow but strangely not all... :BLINK:
2 I have forced x2 AA, Vsync. ANd Vsync UNTICKED in settings of pes...
3 replays themselves are VERY smooth

I have Phenom 3ple core 8450 4gb ram Vista 64bit home premium and 9500GS 512mb...the game runs at my 22" monitor's res 1680x1050 like butter....I tried x16 AA whilst PES2008 runs fine PES2009 has a liiiiittle slowdown when many players appear on screen....at x2AA PES2009 runs fine.
 
Runs perfect on mine with E6600 clocked at 3Ghz and 2 8800gts, The game is still total drivel tho, no matter how smooth it runs.

Very poor effort this year.

Well being so strict and absolute is not nice...some people may come here and with the attitude of a thousand cardinals say the same thing about FIFA....
 
iv tried every fuckin combination and still can't get the game to work like the first post, i believe we are trying to make ourselves happy when we are really not, today iv decided to buy a ps3 iv fuckin had enough what a waste 8800gt is its crap does nothing just frame rate crap bullshit! if you guys really wanna play footy seabass has added secret ingredients to ps3 gameplay dats why i belirve pcs are still for porno not games

youre trying to make the demo to play like the finished game (the op video)? :D
 
thanks mate! that works great, now the player move slower and much more realistically :)

it is best to turn off both vsync and frame skip in settings.exe and then force vysnc on at nvidia control panel.

If you can't run the game with vsync enabled, lower your resolution, no need to blame Konami, the graphics are much better optimized this year compared to 2008.

Can't say the same for me, my 4850 runs the game just fine at 1080p.
 
For those with Ati cards.
I couldnt use the vsync properly, even the ati tray tools' one. But if you change the exe's name to Oblivion.exe you can force it. No luck with AA though.
The gameplay is a bit slower then, so try it if vsync doesnt work for you.
 
well im gonna keep complaining with this low life demo, seabass really doesnt giv a shit sometimes thats wat makes him a cool cold blooded guy, i know the full game will be better but why release a spastic version of a demo for pc when we see great action from ps3, its a mystery last year the demo of pes 2008 was the same i reckon all the demos will look crap on pc anyway thanks for the comments
 
does anyone have any fraps frame rate figs for me to compare with.
im running it at 1600x1024; 25:16 with high detail, gameplays lovely 60fps all the way, replays upto 45fps, but some player scenes are at 11fps. what is the optimal frps for each part of the game,
Ive got 8600m gt 256mb on 2x2.4 core 2 duo and 3gb ram.
i generally really enjoy the demo, needs patching of the usual things though.
 
I have the PC demo running really smooth on my 8800gt, 2GB Ram Dual Core system - all maxed out settings. So you don't have to have that strong a PC.

Looks gorgeous with the patch in the editing forum and a new grass texture :SHOCK:.

After seeing that vid I'm really looking forward to this game now. The demo was addictive enough and it looks as if they've improved on the gameplay even more. PC version all the way - back to editing for me :)).

Roll on next Friday!!!

There is one gameplay element that is missing from any of the football games today - FIFA or PES - and that is the occasion in football when you see teams trying build an attack and they are unable to penetrate the defense - so the player with the ball is forced to walk, or even stop the ball. So far in all the videos, there has been no sign of this, the game of football is not always 'go-go'go!' it is about possession and sometimes that means you walk with the ball and slow down once in a while.

Maybe because football videogames are 10mins long? And real football is 90 mins?
