Forza Motorsport 2

Went to the shop earlier and was looking at forza for 20euro's, and then in the corner of my eye i saw pgr3 for 25euro's so got that instead. Luckily, as i now read that i need a hd anyway :D

You did well anyway because despite of being a launch title, PGR3 is still one of the best 360 games today. Reminds me of what happened with SSX on PS2.
 
PGR3 is fantastic! Its one of the best games ive got in my collection and I still havent completed it yet!

You should try playing the game with a steering wheel! its great fun! I find the Ferrari F50 gives me a pain in the neck all the time!

Pepe or Dj, Anymore info on GTR (xbox360) ???

According to play.com,the game is now coming out on the 23rd of march(last time I looked), But there is very little info around.

I don't play games on my pc, but the trailer that was kicking around on the marketplace a while back looked awesome.
 
I have Got GTR2 on the PC and if the 360 version turns out anything like that it will be worth a look. Not a bad game at all, graphics are good, sound is decent enough and the cars seem to handle quite well with realistic crash damage.

I wouldn't have a clue Jambo, sorry. Something is telling me it might get delayed since there has been almost no updated info whatsoever lately with the release date about a month away. I hope I'm wrong because it would be great to finally play a decent 360 racing game while we wait for Forza to come out. Like DJ, I've played the PC version which looks and drives really good. I like Forza better though because of the presence of production cars and not just racing ones. On the other hand GTR 2 features cockpit view, something I would love to see in Forza 3.
 
pepe the trouble is to model each dashboard for god knows how many cars will take an extremely long time! then there is the storage issue as well. Will it all fit on a DVD9?

I see your point. Besides, it wouldn't improve the gameplay much either. I guess it would be too much work for just a nice looking feature.
Anyway, one day (Xbox 1440, Playstation 5)...
 
Yep it will happen for sure one day, once they find a simple way of capturing/modeling dashboards of over 500 or so cars (maybe the manufacturers could send them electronic 3d Scans?) then we will see that.... Or maybe it will have as much chance as Gran Turismo 5 handling realistically and having Crash Damage!!!

So looking forward to this; the only thing that I'm worried about is the online side of things. They're putting a lot of effort into it and it sounds great, but if a big chunk of the game's playability only comes into effect when you play the game online, and the online mode is full of people who play the game 24/7 and never ever lose (I rarely play any game online because of this reason)... Then I don't know if I can afford to throw £40 away.
 
Jack Bauer the only way you will win is if you play the game enough. I found on PGR3 to start with I kept losing races and it was annoying, but then the more I raced the better I knew my cars and then I started to win races and win good!!

Doesnt really tell us much new info as we knew about the customization options pretty much already.
