money is a factor I`m sure they employ a few family members and the sport they enjoy playing. Raul is playing in a charity league. So I have no clue unless he owns part of the club.
 
what a way to miss treat a legend like him. RMA should be ashamed. i hope Porto meets RMA in the CL this year and Iker will kill all their shots

Indeed yes. He had some great games, which were caught nicely in that highlights video, but his form was nowhere near his top from before he was injured and then put behind Lopez. And that was not just the case in RM but for national team too. It is sad to see the legend and idol from my youth to leave in such way, but if he thinks he can still play regularly and RM is not able to guarantee him starting position then it is best for both parties to part their ways. He will get a chance in another team and RM won't have unhappy player in a dressing room.

And no, he never went from hero to zero. He is still a hero, just not as hero as he was few years ago.
 
nah anyone could have a bad half season eg. its just Perez, the actual manager, team mates couldnt handle...every time he made a mistake all his team mates were shaking their heads like bitches who dont get clothes money from their husbands. he got put behind a 3rd ranked keeper( no offence, Lopez is okay but still no world class), the club let the media to get all over Casillas, no one supported that poor guy, a living legend at his childhood club, who obviously he had some issues, not skill but mental ones.

no one tried to understand him, no one tried to help him, no one tried to motivate him well. no one gave a damn at the world biggest club or couldnt deal with this at the biggest club


either way its sad, never been a Real fan, never been against the club either but now...

his performance is not a debate. Real Madrids way of treating it's legend, him it is. i was clearly talking about that in my previous post.


@Murtall yes, kinda sad because some of the people's action there making me despise a whole club. hard to get over it

I agree with you on that. His performances in last 2-3 seasons were a bit off (and sometimes a lot off) but the way RM just pushed him through the door is not how legends are treated. Both Iker and Raul deserved much better "good bye" once time to leave came, but both were just gone. And both under Perez.


I am not sure when elections are, but I hope, really really hope, Perez won't win and that he will be gone too, and that he will too be sent away without any respect.


That all being said, I still stand at my opinion that it was the right thing for Casillas to leave if he wanted to play constantly.
 
yeah just compare this...not to Xavi's or Puyol's last season, but eg. Schole's, Giggs' both MU players havent played a big role in their last year(s) still finished their career like appriciated club legends
