what a shame this happen there , I think refere wrong to give red cart to goal kepper , and if he do so he should also stop match coz player in field was atack by fans ,

whatever im curious to see what will happen with match maybe it should be 3-0 for Az or Ajax !!!

Wonder what they'll do about match result now.

And ref is wrong to send him off even if official rules say he should because think about the silly precedent this might set! It's telling all deranged, deluded crazy fans of teams (And let's face it, there are plenty of them for EACH team!), that if need be, you can always run onto the field, attack a fellow player and if he retaliates, he'll be sent off and your team will have a major advantage playing against 10 men. Especially if done early enough. :)

That's a HORRIBLE thing for dumb fans to know feeling they CAN help their team! All they have to do is be brave! ":LOL:

So I don't like the ref sending the goalie off even if the young Costa Rican showed he's fairly immature, hot-headed and not the 'coolest' of figures and over-reacted majorly to everything but that's besides the point, poor guy was attacked! what if the fan had a knife and had stabbed him?! This should NOT be happening! Wonder what they'll do to this idiot!

The ref was absolutely right and handled the thing as wanted by the FIFA in one of their rules. The only thing left is the question if this rule is really needed, I guess I would have done the same thing when seeing someone coming at me like this. We can all be happy it was just a drunken idiot, just imagine what may have happened if this guy would have had some weapons with him. :CONFUSE:

Edit: Just read that PLF wrote exactly the same things. Fascinating.
