Dazed and confused: Baumann can’t believe his own performance

Being a goalkeeper is a tough gig. Either you’re the hero, or the zero.

In Oliver Baumann’s case, it was clearly the latter on Sunday. Though Freiburg lost 3-0 to Hamburg — a scoreline that would indicate thorough domination by the away side — it was Baumann who practically determined the outcome by himself, committing three gruesome errors that lead to all three goals.

That's not fair, he's one of our biggest talents and these were his first errors I saw him doing in like three or four years. To call him shite is ridiculous, he just a very bad day.

Think it is worth mentioning more than this that the Freiburg supporters were cheering and shouting his name all over the game after the errors to show their support for him and motivate him. Guess there are many other clubs and countries, where such keepers would have been booed badly.

I'm talking about that match , I don't know him honestly but I thought it was funny

I don't even know how old is he or never seen a match from him so I wasn't calling for his head I was just joking ;)
