guys, don't you notice that football nowadays is really full of cheaters, divers, and all the bad behaviours : kicking the opponent without playing the ball ..
players attitude is generally worsening more and more ..

look at this thread, and this page, Torres, Courtois, ............

the country in which there's still respect and clean football is Germany ..

in the other side, Spanish football now is full of filthy players from all the teams (Diego Costa, Ramos, Pepe, Alves, Busquets, etc ..)
also EPL, has some shitty players, look at what Torres did to Vertonghen for example ..

Referees and federations are doing nothing about it, just some stupid campains and sticking the word "RESPECT" in kits and adboards ..
but I blame more the coaches, they are supposed to be like fathers to their players, they have to behave them, football isn't only about tactics and skills ..

I speak generally man, not judging by one act or two, I watch football every day since 90s, and believe me, last years it's just disgrace ...
and German football is the closest thing to the real football we know ..
 
sorry but I have to disagree with that. I watch some games from 90's time to time and I can't really say that the general attitude and the usual theatrics are any different than today's. maybe it was the vintage years when football was really 'clean'.
 
i love Kolo Toure for his attitude... he is a realy great player who cost LFC zero... and he is a real good and experienced replacement for Carragher.
