Flat faces with in-game face editor?

I have this problem where the "generic face" is actually flat. I cant believe that the game actually made that on purpose. I'm hoping I'm doing something wrong somewhere or that I can change the "default 3d model" to another one.

The issue is that the whole face is flat. Except for the nose, everything is much like a square face. The eyes are not dug into the skull like real eyes, they're actually flat at forehead level and the nose begins UNDER the eyes and not at eye level like it's supposed to be. It's as if the eyes were at forehead level but it has nothing to do with the zoom or the position of the face on the 3d model.

When the player is facing at you, it looks great. But as you start rotating, you see some serious 3d model problems with the eyes area.

Here's a nice youtube video by PES2008TV which shows how to make a face with the ingame editor (apparently some people weren't able to figure it out how to browse for a pic), but unfortunately on this video, he did not rotate the face when he completed it so you could see it from all angles, so I don't know if he's having the same issue.

He was nice enough to reply to a comment I made and said he'd do a video of his edited players on the field. But in the meantime, I thought I'd post here and see what the community has to say about this. Maybe someone actually did manage to make a believable face with the in-game editor.

I just can't believe that they couldn't make a 3D face model with eye depth! They have such amazing models in this game, why is the default 3d model so wrong? It's like a player from the Virtua Soccer edition of 10+ years ago. There's got to be a way. Please help.

PS: for PES5 I made a great face but I had to basically "steal" the face of another real player (forgot his name) who happened to share the same facial proportions as I did. So, basically, there was a player in some other team, with my face too. Not to mention that I had to download half a dozen programs to just put the face into the game and browse and test with every face in the game to find someone with my features. I was excited about PES2008's in-game editor because I wouldn't have to go through all that again and I could make a full team without having to replace the faces of 24 or so real players.

thats great work well done. im gunna try this out later on

Bummer... so, let's say I make my own face with O-edit. Is there a way I can "make" a 3D model and not have to "steal" a 3D model from a existing player? That's what I had to do with PES5 and it sucked to see some other player in another team with my face on him. Also, my team is missing in this version (Venezuela)... so, I'd like to make the whole team, and replacing so many players would suck. Plus, you too have to be lucky to find unimportant players with the same facial structure as you (and the other guys you want to make).
