First PES 2009 Official Trailer!

first impressions - MMmm! looks good on the face of it - have to say I refer the goals and nets in pes 5.

player likeness - excellent

picth & graphics - excellent

player don't bunch like in pes 08

what did you mean by - watch the net when the coal is scored?
 
The nets do not move at all , and the ball comes pinging back out,

Other than that it looks bloody fantastic, and the movement looks way

better than PES 2008.
 
I think KONAMI´s guys should start to make things seriously just like EA is doing with FIFA. We´re two months away from release and all they have to show us is some mediocre trailer where you can´t see anything, and everything you actually see is the same crap you´re already seeing on PES2008. EA, on the other hand, already released two gameplay trailers where you can actually see the game being played and in fact seems to be a far better game than the one KONAMI showed:r1:y1. I´ll wait for both releases to compare gameplay of both games, but I´m not expecting too much from KONAMI to be honest...:y1
I was really dissapointed with PES2008 and I doubt that KONAMI will bring us drastic changes this year.

I totally agree.....considering the game they produced last year, this trailer is quite embarrassing. They need to prove to us they won't take our money for an unfinished product again.

What's the point of this trailer? It shows no changes in gameplay.

The ISS/PES series has been out for over 10 years now, theres no need to produce an 'advert' (this is all this trailer is)...gamers are well aware of the fact this game exists, wether thay play it or not.
 
I have seen a lot of reactions regarding trailers and screenshots....which were all taken from the intro vid.

I mean....who gives a f@#$@#%#$% about the intro? I never watch it, but even if i would then only once and never again. After that you just press your buttons for quick access to the menu.
Intro vids have never been a good representation of the actual in game graphichs.

So, nice vid but it doesnt mean anything. Lets see some gameplay vids.

Konami have got big problems!!!!!!!!

Let me be the first in the world to tell people how will FIFA Soccer 09 will be with this live DNA. For instance, let's say Carizo (River goallie) goes to Lazio, and Denis (Independiente to Napoli of Italy). Ok, so you turn your X360, your PS3 or your PC the next day, and boom, all the transfers are done. Now, let's say that Denis played as a forward in Independiente, but when he debuts in Napoli, the coach makes him plays not as a forward (number 9, center forward), but as a right forward, or let's suppose that the coach decides that he will play as a position similar to Paul Scholes, not a forward, not a midfielder, but almost as a midfielder-forward.

Ok, so as soon as that happens, the player ATTITUDE will change, so the next time you play FIFA Soccer 09, the attitude of the player will change.

Ok, another example

El Demonio Guerron from Liga, goes to Getafe. Next time you turn on FIFA 09, LIVE DNA adjusts Guerron. And even though in Liga de Quito he played as a forward, maybe in Getafe he will play as a midfielder, and the coach will use his speed to the counter attack.

So, every change that happens in the REAL WORLD, including
  • players attitudes
  • players positions
  • team formations
  • team strategy
  • players injuries
In other words, FIFA Soccer 09 will be EXCACTLY the same as the real life, including the latest player attitudes, the positions... everything, representing on the video game, what is happening with the coaches, their teams, and their players.

The feature is called LIVE DNA and will be available in NBA Live 09. If you see LIVE DNA in FIFA Soccer 09, just remember you heard it first here at GamingAccess.com. If you don't hear about this feature for FIFA Soccer 09, then let's hope that Konami can anticipate something similar, because if FIFA 09 for PC has good graphics, and with the inmense multiplayer game, plus Live DNA, this will be a game extremelly difficult to beat.

In my case I really don´t care about graphics at all, all I want is a refined PES6´s gameplay and that will make me happy. In fact, if they release a "PES7" with same engine but better gameplay so we can use kitserver 6.5..on it, that would be awesome...
FIFA has really cool graphics, collisions, etc, but due to the face that PC´s version will still have "old-gen" engine, I don´t know if it can be much better than PES2009, we´ll have to wait to see...
Let´s pray for konami´s guys to make their job decently this time...
