unbeliveable that we can´t stop for few seconds untill main referee asks a VIDEO REFEREE if that was offside or not...

crazy if you think a team prepeares 4 years for WC, dreams of it, scores a legitime goal and the goal will be not allowed just because one guy standing on lines...

Can't tell if you're being serious, but one could strongly argue that the ref bottled sending off Lugano for 2 very, very clear yellow card offenses. Could have turned the whole tide for England's world cup, and Uruguay's.
 
one is a perfectly legal goal, the other is a debatable sending off. not even a penalty no-call which would directly affect the scoreboard. and considering that there are still people talk about lampard's disallowed goal even after four years and its influence on that fifa's introduced the goal line tech, yes I'm serious.

fully agreed with pipa.

imho, the biggest injustice of whole world cup up to this moment is shitty new zealand refs who kicked out bosnia and herzegovina out of tournament! two bad calls which directly created final result of that game.

nigeria undeservedly goes through and should build up a statue for those new zealand shity refs.
 
So I guess people was too busy yesterday arguing about Suarex, that none noticed that Faryd Mondragon, our substitute GK, became the oldest man to perform in a WC match aged 43 yrs old, it was very emotional for us that remember him crying after we lost to England back in France 98 (he also was sub gk in usa 94 ) to watch him again on a WC pitch and also having a chance to make one last save.

So awesome to see someone who mentioned it.

We Independiente fans have a high regard on Faryd. He was briefly our goalkeeper during our Clausura and Supercopa 95 championships, in which he was flawless. I was quite amazed to see him still playing, and in a WC, and performing a stunning save reminiscent to Casillas's against Robben.

I also got moved when I saw him step into the field.

Weird, never had a red card before 3 weeks ago, 2 since then!

Mondi! A legend in Cologne! Great to see him getting some minutes in this tournament.

@Suarez: I thought about the following today at work: What if the referee didn't give a card on purpose? I mean red cards are always followed by a certain amount of banned matches, but usually nothing more. What if he speculated that a trial by the FIFA might come to a harder result, i.e. a higher fine or a time-based ban? I don't think it's a too realistic, but I can't get it out my head currently.
 
great result for Switzerland, so happy for Shaqiri scoring a hat-trick , damn they'll face Argentina next (I dont think they are good, but Switzerland defense its way to weak!
