FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014

This must have been one of the most boring matches of the tournament.
IMO Russia didn't deserve to loose. It's clear that we have more class players. I only wish they would show it more than 5 or 6 minutes...

Our team has excellent physical condition and that has saved us in both matches...still waiting for the first decent performance, but we are in the second round...

There are teamsthat played better, but that are already out of the tournament.

Good performance by Origi. Lukaku clearly frustrated.

Our team is a litle bit"victim" of the fact that they are overhyped. Both Algeria and Russia started against us as if we are favourites to win the damn thing. Against thoseultra defensive teams we miss Benteke. Lukaku is a player who needs space...

Still we have a very good bench: Mertens, Fellaini, Origi and now Mirallas and Origi...they all did well. And we still haven't used Januzaj (who still hasn't made his official maiden match, Wilmots played him against Luxemburg, nut he made one substitution too much, so this isn't considered as an official match...there is still hope Valon !).

Agree on all points but people need to Remeber USA always wins ugly it's part of our DNA

I think they were charming. It irks me that either USA or Ghana says goodbye after the group stages, I'd prefer both of them through.

I fell in love with Deuce as a footballer during that match.

EDIT: Belgium were incredibly poor in this match but Russia suffered from their chicken tactics (Capello.. doh). They could've taken it in the second half but didn't dare to go for it and lost... deserved. Who scores deserves to win in the end.

I really don't have hope anymore and I kind of dont want he to play for Albania anymore, just because he doesn't have space in Belgium NT he cant walk away and com back to Albania, he had his choice and he made it so he should stick with it, NT team its more than that , its love for your own country so he felt he's Belgian more than Albanian he should stay Belgian and not become "Albanian" just because now he's warming bench!

Isn't he son of Kosovar parents? I know that the majority of Kosovo people are of albanian ethinicity, but that alone would allow him to play for Albania? Is like an Belgian of Austrian decent would play for Germany without any connection (both have the same ethinicity, but that's it).

The Austrian and German comparison isn't valid. Most Austrians feel Austrian and not German. Most Kosovars feel Albanian.

I'm not saying that they feel German. Germans and Austrian share the same ethinicity. That's all I'm saying. I was refering more regarding the connection with Albania (legally) that of the feeling of being Albanian.

he's son of "Kosovar" parents so am I but we are all Albanians, just coz politics have separated some part(Kosovo) out of Albania doesn't make us different.

also there other players from Kosovo playing for Albania: Etrit Berisha GK, Lorik Cana (Captain) , Debatik Curri , Mërgim Mavraj , Amir Abrashi , Valdet Rama , Shkëlzen Gashi , Edmond Kapllani , Alban Meha , Migjen Basha etc

if Adnan Januzaj wants to play for Kosovo than he still have chance even if he play official game for Belgium NT since Kosovo NT isn't fully accepted by UEFA and FIFA so when they do any player who have "Kosovo background" can play for Kosovo if they want to.

I know that. That's actually one of the impasses for Kosovo independence to be fully recognized(The fear that they will join Albania and "re-flamed" tensions in the region). But those players moved to Albania, right (after the war or for professional reasons of their parents, etc.)? Januzaj has no connection. Can he still gain a Albanian passport just for that. I don't want to go all political or anything, just curious how that, hypothetical, would work.

Great game. Korea never gave up.

The ref (the one of Cameroon-Mexico) once again made so many mistakes.

with 95%+ of population being Albanians of course we want to be part of Albania but we aren't strong enough to decide for our own destiny so we should take whatever its a bit better than worst!

no those players never moved to Albania but since their Nationality its Albanian no one can stop them to represent their Nationality , at the end its called National Team.

Januzaj parents are Albanian Nationality so that "makes" him Albanian too (if he want to be and if he feel like one of course), so he has all rights and connections that one need.

btw if you have anything else please contact me via PM and I would be more than happy to explain and answer any question you have, this easly go to politics and I dont want to start a "fight" or anything in this thread :)
