FIFA (Netflix Edition)

I thought it was UFL at first sight. Ball physics is look, ball flow is so lookalike, but when i saw the first Shooting/Goais that was totally similar.

I don't thrust the guys saying "but UFL is wau better now" every time i'm doing it i feel exactly the same and scores looks like a long Tie Break. As , to me it's a PS2 game a bit like ISS3 (but at least it KECO was not aiming at "pro" or simulation") mixed with This is football with PS3 Fifa animations (the only thing looking almost good).
@Madmac79 said exactly what i'll just saw, i laughed as it was so true

Just seen Woltemade's face ingame and he looks like Guy Fawkes mask with a wig on

Looks about how I expected it to be, I wasn't expecting anything advanced for a Netflix/mobile game
Also it is basically free to play. I don’t know why people here react surprised or in a negative way. The moment it was announced as a Netflix Game, it was clear that this will be the result. You can’t expect even PS2 level of depth, when the game will run on the TV App. How would that work with a tv remote?

Maybe the console release will have a little more depth, but I don’t have any expectations for that as well.

I don't mind the graphics, and I find this to be mostly fine, also enjoy how I can play straight from my TV since I don't own a console or PC currently, besides and old laptop that's only good for web browsing... it's quite arcade like, but I don't mind it as long as its fun, and this one could've been very enjoyable for me if not for the only control option being a smartphone touchscreen. I can use touch controls sometimes, but for anything football I just need buttons and having to use my smartphone and do 10x different types of flicks on the screen to do the different moves is a pain to get used to really.

If they add the option to connect a DualShock 4 to play then we can talk.

So, an update I guess... this is growing on me. I don't mind the graphics, I still play PS1 Winning Eleven, I care about the football. I don't mind it here much, of course it's not the World Cup video game I wanted, but flicking the controller to shoot a banger every time, while very arcade like, is fun and very satisfying too. I also love how I can play on my smart TV without any secondary device besides my smartphone as the controller.

It's convenient to pick up and play, and shooting feels very satisfying, also love the OST. I'd give this 3 stars out of 5 if I were to rank how I feel about it now.

This is a gripe that also an Italian youtuber (Falconero), by which I saw the review of the game, had.
His review's cover states "Way worse than expected" (and from what I saw I believe he's right: there were several things during his review that made me feel uncomfortable, to say the least).
I've just seen some videos of it but it doesn't really make me want to play it, I'm honest.

The crazy thing is the whole concept is made to fool you as if they were the creative part behind the Fifa games:

- The Soundtrack? Song 2, Rockafella Skank and other old Fifa Songs.

- Commentary? Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend

- Celebrations? Straight out if Fifa.

It is like the whole task was: let's hope people will not realize it is not the EA Fifa

Which kind of reminds me of the Mockbuster Asylum movies. Well the game is the same quality

Really, FIFA? 😒

they don’t need to release a game. The FIFA licence will be back with EA soon anyway.

I thought I've been misunderstood here.
My "Really, FIFA?" comment was just about that atrocious TikTok video (as in "how could you even remotely think that publishing a video like this one would be a good idea?")

@*aLe

I see your point. I just wanted to point out that Netflix Game won’t be relevant for much longer anyway, as EA will soon have the FIFA licence back.
