FiFA [2006-2011 and 2014] Next gen ports via RPCS3, Xenia and ShadPs4

Copied the data folder and cl.ini file into the directory and clicked regenerate all here
Both the CUSAxxx and CUSAxxxx-patch folder? And in both cases have you changed to directory of cg file explorer? If that's the case, then the mod should work. However, if it does refuse to work, you can bruteforce the LOD files by just directly importing and replacing the original settings.lua file within the .big files. But that's something you should do if nothing else works.

Can you send a screenshot of the game from gameplay camera?

I don't have a patch folder, just the main directory in this screenshot, which is the folder I chose to regenerate.

It runs worse than Xenia and with most of these x360 recomps using rexglue - variable refresh rate does not work at all, leading to significantly unsmooth gameplay exeprience. All the visual bugs from older versions of xenia are also present here and FPS is very low. These will need much more polish until they become a better alternative to Xenia or even Rpcs3.

for real?
just tested and for me it runs better than on Xenia
finally i can say goodbye to readback resolve and synchronous copies trick
for 4K resolutions it says it still have performance issues tho
but for me is fine, i didn't plan to fry my laptop anyway

On Xenia I get 70-80 FPS on 4k, here I'm getting around 20-30 FPS on 4k, not only that but there are visual bugs all over the place. And lack of gsync support is making the game look unsmooth asf.

what visual bugs? post them so the dev might fix them in the future
tbh he stated this from the beginning, so its pointless to even try it:

static recomps run better than dynamic recomps (emulator) by definition (without putting much pressure on CPU and GPU)
just need the dev to improve it a bit
the problems with emulator its focusing on all games, fixing some bugs get other bugs, as you posted above about latest xenia edge build

Static recomps running great is not always true. In fact, most of these x360 recomps using rexglue aren't even that different from Xenia, if not worse. They run just like xenia and at times have more visual bugs than running on actual emulator.

Jersey textures are flickering between home and away kits randomly and performance even at 720p is being worse than xenia edge. And 720p is honestly not upto the mark these days.

Only improvement I've seen over regular Xenia is the cutscenes having uncapped framerate. That means we can finally get 60 FPS cutscenes instead of the usual 30 fps cap. However, that is only if the dev can get the performance to even match Xenia. And of course fixing VRR, otherwise it will always remain inferior.

What GPU you got? From what I've seen. It's AMD gpus that are facing these issues.

Tested on 5070 Ti and laptop RTX 3050 and game runs on both of these GPUs.
Hey man, you've actually guessed it right: AMD GPU here. RX 5700 XT to be more precise.
It seems that I'm currently out of luck then.

Have you tried a few different fpkgs? It’s possible you have an issue with the extraction and game assets.

Speaking of fpkgs, I can't find any reliable sources for fpkgs for PES 15, 16 and 17. The ones that have the updates still have encrypted fpkgs, so they are useless.

Will this be patched in the near future so AMD GPUs can run it or is it time to start shopping?

First we have to find out if it affects all AMD gpus or only older ones like the ones before 6xxx series. As for whether it will get patched or not, the offical builds of shadps4 might get a fix eventually but who knows when. But even then, someone has to add the unlocked fps+ visual bug fix enhancements on those, otherwise it will still have the previously mentioned visual problems.

No need to start shopping yet just for playing a single game. GPU prices have been and will remain abysmal. Unless you must upgrade in general, you might as well just hold off. But this suggestion might backfire severely since GPU prices keep getting worse.

Yeah, well said. In my case, I have been putting off upgrading for years so I don't mind shopping. I will argue that some of the sports games of the PS4 generation are worth it, haha.
