I've managed to fix invisible ball glitch for Rio final ball by copying these decompressed files over the same id View attachment 441309
also make sure to have these lines in your "cl.ini" file from fifa main folder:
Imma test it out. Previously you had to set readback resolve settings to most accurate ones which would kill the framerate. There was a workaround where once you entered a match, you could revert the readback resolve settings to lenient ones and FPS would improve. However, you had to revert the settings back before starting each new match or the visuals would get corrupted.
Talking about FIFA 14 WC that is. 06-10wc were fine regardless.
I think which performance improved like this, there is no reason to set occlusion query to fast - alt or fast now. Also i remembered 2006, 2010 fifa world cup still need readback resolve, in 2006 to fix light of stadium, in 2010 readback resolve is needed to fix the sky of some stadium
yes just tested and i have the same problem, i will report to the author
sorry for posting without checking, i didnt expect it
well, at least my faces work well:

thank you so much for fix this ball. This ball look really good and more accurate than custom ball, because custom ball the gold and yellow color is too strong and it is not accurate if you watch 2014 world cup final game on TV. This original ball is more accurate 😍
So I wanted to share some recompilations I made (with the help of ChatGPT Codex). You'll need to extract your game assets to the 'game' subfolder or edit the TOML to point to the directory for this. You can also set resolution and such in the TOML. Feel free to beta test. I don't intend to continue on this project but feel free to enjoy these if they work better than Xenia.
I made some optimizations to 06, 07 (match crash bug fixed), and 08 has some experimental high refresh rates. The others are mostly untouched and likely have graphical issues.
This thread was inspiration for me to try this and I'd consider it feasible.

There is a middle ground between Xenia and a recompilation/decompilation/native build: a custom fork of Xenia that addresses the specific graphical issues you’re having. In fact, this doesn’t even require AI if you know how to diagnose logs and program.

Yes, as a matter of fact, UEFA EURO 2008 was one of the first FIFA games that became fully playable all the way back in 2020s. Long before FIFA 08 was playable. Interesting game too. Wish someone managed to import the cutscenes from that game to base FIFA 08 because the scenes looked so much better in that game.

Looks like there is audio regression on FIFA World Cup 2006 on current Xenia Edge builds. There is constant audio distortion noise during matches, it's worse than the double audio playback issue that has been there since the beginning.
I've also noticed more stuttery animations in general regardless of framerates.
hey I have a question, does fifa 06 road to world cup x360 works on Android emulators?! , I've downloaded it 2 months ago and it worked but stuck after ea sports it's in the game , I've always wanted to play this game , does it need a fix ? , or the current x360 emulators on Android can't make it work ?!
Sane here with FIFA 09.
A black screen for a second or so, and then nothing.
Switching to fullscreen shows the “pre-game” splash screen for a second, then I’m sent back to desktop.
The only thing I notice is that the system seems a bit slowed down for a while after that (which makes me think that something _is_ still running in the background).
Any suggestions, @sleevel? They’d be really appreciated.

Can you try setting a userdata location somewhere other than d:\? You may have that write restricted - you can see the last few lines trying to make a new cl.ini file there and it failing. You can change this in the TOML file where you specified your game asset directory.
