FIFA 17 mod (Gameplay, kits, graphics, squads)

Thanks for updated mod!

What are the intended settings to use it:
- Default gameplay sliders?
- Slow speed?
- Control scheme up to user or?
- What's the button to bring up SweetFX menu? Usual suspects don't seem to work unfortunately.
Hi bro!

Sliders depends on your desire, for example I use these:

- speed - sprint = 40-44

- ball pass speed = 25-30

The left is default, and normal speed.


About the sweetFX it should be applied once you paste all the files inside FIFA 17 main folder (replacing all files)

Overall very pleasant experience so far. Just late afternoon lighting was too dark:

so I had to delete "new_nis_vfx.dll" and now it's looking good during that time of the day.
 
I've made tweaks to your locale.ini to make few changes that may vibe with other people.
I will share it here, hope you're cool with that :)

Changes that I've made:
- increased intensity at which players turn and speed in which they walk while at it (I found it to be too slow in the original);
- re-enabled "R1" runs;
- tweaked ball physics to make it less instant rocket speed;
- AI responds faster to passes resulting in less of "nobody knows who should get the ball" moments;

On a side note, I am using that locale file in FIFA 18 and it's working beautifully!

Overall, this gameplay mod is WOW. I liked Doctor+ versions already, but this stuff turned very good games into something else.

I have been using some of the lanes in this locale.ini to add to my mod, and I still have to find more. For the moment, the problem I have is that I am playing up to 90 min and stamina just falls too much too early.

Btw, are you machete? I think I commented you that I was doing a mod for FIFA 17, and you said to me if I could contact you. I don't have kits, neither squads updated, but got a couple of things that could be of some use to you.

Also, Doctor+ has 2 gp mods. One is the locale.ini (which I used as a base to make my locale.ini), the other one is the InitFS_Win32. I will probably be wrapping all together in a single mod with my debuglines + some other changes (probably including more lanes from this locale.ini that can suit mine). I URGENTLY need though, a way to reduce stamina usage. My players are dead by minute 60-70 already, and by that I mean that most of them are in red stamina, which is CRAZY. Stamina usage needs to be reduced like a lot, since 2nd half is almost a different game (and nowhere near as fun as 1st half). If any of you finds a tested method to reduce stamina usage, make me know it.

Have you tested lowering acceleration on users sliders? For some reason in this game stamina consumption is tied to that slider, try lowering to 45 or below and they use less stamina, so they are not run out of gas too early in match.

I don't have that problem, I'll probably share my gameplay sometime soon if I solve the stamina problem. The problem with downloading acceleration to 45 is that gameplay becomes way too slow and unresponsive. 50 is rn sweet spot, maybe 49 or 48 at best. 45 is way too low.

Also, in my case I think I don't have that problem with lofted through passes, probably because some of the lanes I have in my locale.ini. Which one? I don't fucking know, I put several hundred (maybe almost a thousand) of lanes made by AI hoping that some of them work. Maybe I have 1 that works per 100, maybe per 10... Dunno. Only know that game feels quite different with it.

If I ever manage to solve stamina problem I'll be publishing the mod. Is the only thing right now that is not working as intended, aside of minor positioning problems.

hmm Indeed I now noticed this too in FIFA 17.
Interestingly, I don't see this weird behavior in FIFA 18 with locale.ini.

Perhaps some of these lines cause this problem?
Ontrajectory=0.5
InairChase=0.5
InairOfftraj=0.5
Ontraj=0.5

CPUAI_MARKER_USE_PREDICTED_BEHAVIOUR=1
ENABLE_AVOIDANCE = 0

I did some changes to them but haven't managed to get rid of that problem in FIFA 17 :/

but that stamina problem is only for 90 minutes playtime, right?

If so, it would be awesome if you shared the gameplay mod cuz I would imagine most people play on much much shorter match times anyway. Therefore your gameplay mod could work great for us :)

I've played several matches with the latest gameplay mods and noticed a strange issue: there are no yellow or red cards shown during games. No matter how many fouls are committed, the referee never gives out a card. Has anyone else experienced this?
