There's also IMS mod for Fifa 19, which works well with the Origin version, and is still updated every month or so. It covers main Euro league updates, Russia, and Brazil well. It does have some obnoxious monetization of download links, so I won't link here, but a search will find it.

in my opinion it is fifa 18. However, the journey is a pretty good ride in fifa 17.

I like FIFA 15. The first nextgen at PC. Also is the FIFA with most hours in a game for me. (the reason why i think is the best)
But the truth is that number 16 is in the top of the list... because is the slower FIFA ever. After 17 they missed the birthday and the released the same game.

I need to check it for fifa18 , but in comments I see so many errors. Maybe it is risky to install it.
Perhaps anybody has just new roster with latest squads for this season? (just file with squads to apply in settings).

3 years later, I can tell you FIFA 17 plays the best game of football. Also looks the best.

Also, none of the FIFA patches have updated callnames which sort of kills the immersion.

It looks more natural to me than any other Frostbite FIFA that came after it... Animations, shooting, player models, lighting...All of these things just feel truer to football. I also absolutely hate dynamic lighting in football games and FIFA 18 started it, I prefer how the baked in lighting looked in FIFA 17, I think it was near perfect for a football game.

Funny (and sad) that 17 looks much better than FC25. The “golden hour” late evening lighting is gorgeous.

I played some 16 Infinity Patch today and the player models, face and hair look wonderful. I do wish it had the callnames though.
