I've just discovered you can change your 'pitch' folder in game, without having to regenerate bh files. So we can have a few different modded pitch folders and just rename them to 'pitch' for the one you want to use. Provides good variety.

yes i have different pitches for different stadiums and with lighting mod is just stunning

the edits are in gfx rar, i dont know what they are, but when i installed gfx mod i noticed that the turf had many more details. GFX mod was made by chuny. i think was the first mod based on reshade on fifa 16, a stroke of jeanious

The game can feel twitchy at times, but overall and compared to what we get now, animations are believable and most of the time beautiful.

Purchased FIFA 23 today, played some games, don't like anything of it yet.. Then played one game with FIFA 16 and scored this goal with Son.



I think it will be another year playing this beautiful game instead of the new fifa..

Do you think there is a way to fix the bodybuilder shoulder in the player model by any chance? That shouldn't really mess up the animations as the skeleton will be unchanged. Perhaps some new vertex painting.

No idea actually! It would be a good fix though.

The quality of some of these 16 faces has improved so much. Combined with the nice pitch textures and it still looks way better than FIFA 23 to me!

I’ll check for you next time I fire it up. The rainy conditions changes the colour scheme slightly too. Some effects fit well, others look a little odd. That’s why I did so many options haha.

I'm finding that a lot of the looks are actually translating quite well to day matches also. This is look V during the day.
