The amount of good stuff this game has is crazy, goalkeeper awarness, coming out on throughballs etc, cpu ai being very sharp, brilliant.
But for me on console, way to twitchy in movement, played 4 games yesterday, brilliant but cant stand the twitchy movement from players.
But, so good in all other areas
Havent played it in years, so forgot how good it is

Try playing on the release version on console if you have the game disc. Much better than the updated version! Make the console offline and turn off auto-updates.

Think ill do that, i have a digital version, came with my xbox once, and a disc version bought a few years back.

I played the PC version around a year ago (modded to the latest season) and honestly I found the CPU AI pretty horrible. I think I played on world class, and everytime the CPU had the ball, they would just play it at the back. It didn't matter if they were losing and it was the 80th minute, they would still just play it among the defenders. I had to actively put down my controller and wait for them to progress to at least the half way line if I wanted to get the ball.

The goalkeepers were great though. Sometimes they would make absolutely brilliant saves, sometimes they'd let easy shots in, it was unpredictable.

Goalkeepers are superb in 16, the rest of the players and how the ai changes tactics when trailing or winning was so good in 15, to me a underrated game.
Good goalkeeping came back in 18, not as good as in 16 but way better than weve had since.
My 18 career mode is extremely tough and challeging without being to cheaty.

Yep 15 was a really good game, I didn't like how easy dribbling was in it though. It felt more realistic in 16 and 17.

FIFA 18 (pre patch) was my favourite ever FIFA, it felt like a more refined and better looking version of 17 with more animations, and 17 was already an amazing game.

Had three season on 17 recently, but it became a bit to easy, cpu ai is a bit toothless, but brilliant on most other parts.
Think 18 is my least played from the 14-18 era, really loving it now

is there any mod that skips pre-match training session? it's becoming boring to press "esc" so many times. in fifa 14 it's enough to press it once.

How can I raise more money for transfers at the start of the season without selling players? I'm playing for Wolves. This is probably my 10th season. During this time, I've won the Champions League several times, and for the past few seasons, I've finished 2nd or 3rd in the league table. Overall, I have a very strong team. The problem is that for several seasons, the board has set a goal of winning the league and Champions League, but my budget is similar each season. Well, maybe in the first two seasons, it was lower; now it's around €90-100 million. Despite continued success, this budget hasn't increased, so without selling my players, I can only afford to buy one good player per season. I know I can ask for additional funds during the season, but I want the board to provide a larger budget with greater success. Is this possible in FIFA?Does FIFA have a club reputation system? The greater the reputation, the larger the budget? Or is it rigidly defined?

If anyone has tried RFS with FIFA 16 on PC, you'll know that you have way less limits than you would if you edited the DB on FIFA, I've actually worked on making fantasy UEFA competitions. Why play Career Mode and win in high class European competitions while in the EFL, when you could do a proper road to glory and win these new competitions for second division teams. 1000020488.png
