Problem is that reducing speed/accel sliders then makes player movement disproportionate to the speed of the ball, meaning you can easily pass your way around the CPU. Then you start delving into reducing passing, increasing marking etc and the tweaking around never ends. That's what happened with me and FIFA 12. I just want a good football game out of the box.
Agreed. What's needed is the global speed settings in the game to have some much slower settings, so everything slows down proportionally.
It would help if EA introduced some proper player physics too, and then applied it equally to both human and cpu players. of course, I'm joking, I know this will never happen.
